Let the SBD Holiday Challenge Begin!!

Today is the first day of our SBD Holiday Challenge. Wednesday will be our check-in day each week. This challenge will carry us through December 31st (which, ironically, is on a Wednesday). Anyone can join the challenge at any time.
Here's a thought to get you started...

Post your introduction to this thread...your name, how long you've been following SBD, and your three-month goal. Then post your goal for this week. Perhaps it will be to exercise a certain number of days; try meal planning for the week; to try a new food; or whatever you think will help you jump-start this challenge.

Hi everyone! I hope I'm not too late to join in the challenge. My name is Rebekah and I am starting the South Beach Diet as soon as I go grocery shopping, which should be tomorrow or Sunday. I am not sure if this is reasonable or not but I want to lose 20 lbs by Christmas. Thats about 1.5 lbs per week. So thats going to be my ultimate Challenge Goal. My goal weight is 130 lbs, which gives me 127 lbs to lose.
My weekly goal is going to be to stick to Phase 1 and plan out all my meals and snacks a day in advance....so I dont have the "OMG I dont know what to cook" excuse. I also need to make sure I walk 30 minutes or more 5 days a week.
Good luck to everyone and I can't wait to get started losing!!!
