| Wed, 10-08-2008 - 6:29am |
It's time to check in and see how everyone did during the first week of our holiday challenge. If you need a reminder as to your personal goal, check the thread below.

Tell us how you did, and what your goal will be for the following week. The goal can be weight, food, behavior, or exercise related...whatever you need the most help with. Good luck!

Jammie,
I was thinking of you yesterday and hoping that you would be checking in soon.
Jammie, it's SO good to hear from you!!!
Well I had my 2nd W-I on the beach and lost 2 lbs the first week and than the 2nd I MAINTAINED.Now I starting my 3 week with Phase 2 and added an apple & some starchy veggies to my menu this week and will see what happens at the next W-I.
Along with eating, my focus this week to exercise more than I have been.
Hugs :) Maryann
Well this week has gone pretty well. Despite being *very* busy, I've pretty much stuck to my plan, and gotten all my workouts in. I even managed to squeeze a workout in today, though I had to cut it just a little short. We ran 3 days this week as planned, including a great 27-minute 5K on Tuesday! Scale this morning showed 132, so I'm happy with that.
Sunday is the 5K, and my goal is to finish in under 28 minutes. So I'm taking tomorrow as a rest day to prepare for that. As for next week, my main goal is to just stay on track as much as possible. We are having the carpet re-installed in the basement on Monday morning, and I'm really hoping they are quick about it so I have time to get to the gym and back before the kids get out of school. Tuesday I can get to the gym after teaching in the morning, and I also plan to go Wednesday (which is usually the day I take off), because I will be out of town Thurs-Sun. We'll probably run Tues & Weds
Keep plugging away...that stubborn weight will eventually give up it's death-grip and fall away!!
Great job on the running! I can't wait to hear how it goes!
