Well...I was only in the challenge for a few days and my goals were to lose 20 lbs and stick to Phase 1 without any slip ups.
I weighed myself this morning and I havent lost any weight yet but I have been sticking to the plan perfectly so I know it will come off eventually. So far so good.
My goals for this week are going to be to stick to Phase 1 again and get in 3 walks over the course of the week.
This past week went great, actually! I did the 5K on Sunday and met my time goal. I made it to the gym each day that I had planned. Eating was quite good, too. I think my only little slip was a few fries at Red Robin on Saturday...
This week has gone well so far. I weighed yesterday and was very happy to see 131.5! Hope it sticks! I've made it to the gym every day this week, and ran with my friend yesterday. The rest of the week will be a challenge for me. I'm leaving tomorrow for a girls' weekend in Minneapolis. I will do the best I can with eating, and will pack some healthy snacks for the road and to haul around in my purse. Workouts may be limited to just alot of walking while shopping...our hotel has a gym, but I'm not sure I'll have enough time to use it. We'll be at a conference Friday night and all day Saturday, so sitting most of the day. But we'll see if I can find time to use the gym early Saturday and Sunday morning...
Hope everyone is doing well, and has a great week!!
My goals were to exercise 5 days, 2 at the gym, and to eat clean.
The exercise didn't happen. As much as I hate to say it, it looks like exercising is going to continue to be sporadic until the spring when I can put myself on some sort of schedule. I'm going to continue to try and get to the gym/walk whenever possible, but I don't want to set a goal there...I don't want to set myself up for failure.
The clean eating did! For the most part I've been eating pretty clean and staying under control. However, I have had a few slip-ups. While I have been eating candy, I have to say that the slip-ups I've been having most often have been things that are "almost" legal.
Since I made a thing of vegetable soup this past weekend and been having some for breakfast everyday this week that has REALLY helped me get my veggies in. I think this will be a trend for me, for at least a little while. If I load up on veggies for breakfast/lunch it makes snacks and dinner easier.
And to make me want to eat even more vegetable soup, the scale has been going down for the last week, but especially the last few days. I'm almost back to my lowest low (1 more pound to go!) and I'm 5.2 pounds to my challenge goal!
Past Races:
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern

last week: 117

Well, I weighed in yesterday at 115.4 (which was a total shock) and really wanted to see it stick before I actually "claimed" it.

So I did horrible this week.
If you jump right back on track, those two pounds will come right off.
