I thought since November is a time for giving thanks, we could all think about things SBD has made us thankful for. Each Monday we'll have a new "thankful" thread with different ideas.
This week, think about an eating habit that you are thankful has changed since starting SBD, and post it here.
I don't post often, but I am reading the messages often. Just thought I would say that I have been on the SBD for 9 months and have lost 49 pounds! I am thankful for so many things about the SBD, but one in particular that comes to mind is that this was probably the first Halloween that I sat and gave out candy, but didn't eat even one piece, nor did I have a desire to. That is a lot to be thankful for! SBD has changed my life!
SBD has made me thankful for changing...my habit of not eating breakfast.
My WHOLE life - literally, like 27 years, I never ate breakfast. That horrible habit set me up for a whole day of bad eating, plus a whole day of being grumpy, unfocused, unproductive, tired, etc. I think the importance of eating a balanced breakfast is one of the things I am most thankful that I learned from South Beach.

Thanks for coming out and sharing!
I'm thankful that I no longer have the desire to eat every piece of candy, doughnuts, cake, cookies, etc that is placed in front of me.
