How was this past week for you? Did you make it through Halloween without overindulging in the kids' treats? If you need a reminder of your goal from last week, check out the thread below. Tell us how you did, and what you're planning to do to stay on track this week. Good luck!

I'm happy to report that I am down 1 pound
After my Friday-Sunday of eating bad, although Sunday was much better, I'm up from last week. Only .2 of a pound, so not horrible, but still, it's a gain.
This week is going to horrible in terms of eating for so many reasons - it started last night with dinner, a chicken burrito, I opened it up and tried to eat around the rice and just eat the black beans, chicken, salsa, and cheese but it didn't really work (I had asked for chicken tacos so I could just eat the insides, but while I was getting yelled at someone took them which really added to the delightfulness of the evening).
My goals for the week:
-Get vegetables in every day
-Make the best possible choice for dinner (hopefully we'll keep getting a salad)
-Walk to see my staff - I've gotten into the habit of messaging them to come over, I could get a few extra steps in by getting up and going over there
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern
I started wholeheartedly with the SBD on Monday. I'm at Wednesday and have yet to stray. My goal is to make it through this weekend while staying with the SBD way of eating.
I have now lost 1 1/2 pounds since starting the challange. I didn't report in last week but I know I was up a few pounds so very happy to see the scale at 159.5 yesterday!
I think I've done ok for this past week. Even though I allowed myself a few pieces of miniature Halloween candy, I have yet to eat any. For some odd reason, this works for me. I had bought a big bag of miniatures and I put 1 of each in a baggie to save for myself. And they are all still in the baggie, yeah!!!
I'm still hovering around a half a pound higher than my low, which is typical for me. I'm just delighted that the scale has moved down a bit lately. Exercise is still pretty good, although I have skipped a few days during the week lately.
I read an article in Cooking Light yesterday that gave a good treadmill routine. I'm thinking seriously of trying it out today. I normally do my 5 mile stationary bike ride on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, but I need to throw in something different now and then. We'll see if I can figure out how my treadmill works!!! We've had it for several years now and I hardly use it.
Good luck to all your challengers!!! Hang in there...perseverance pays off!!!

I did great this past week.
My 2 goals for the week were to drink 2 liters of water a day and get in an extra 2 days of strength training per week. This week I am going to continue those , but now focus on food.
6 days I drank 2 liters of water, but only 1 extra day of strength training.
This week's goals:
1- drink 2 liters of water
2- 2 extra days of strength training
3- 3 grains, 2 fruits and ALL 4 CUPS OF VEGETABLES!

I survived the two Halloween parties pretty much unscathed! I am not much for
I just started on Monday really. I'm down about 3 lbs. Hopefully it's not just water! This weekend will be tough because we are going away. Next week, I will move into Phase 2 formally and get back into my daily workouts.
