Gluten free and SB

Hi guys.  Phase 3 Lisa here.

Well, I am in the process of diagnosing some GI/malabsorption issues.  We did a GI biopsy and I am waiting on some blood work to look for Celiac disease.  So, far all we know is that the villi in my small bowel are damaged - we just don't know by what.

Of course the first thing that they want me to do is to go gluten free to start establishing if this helps.  So that means so wheat, barley, rye, oats, malt etc.  It kind of impacts how I normally do SB.

Is there anyone out there that is gluten free on SB?  If so, do you have any tips?  How do you feel about the maltodextrin in the artificial sweeters?

So far it looks ok.  I had some quinoa/corn pasta last night that was pretty good.  I realize to do gluten free and be a normal human you need to eat more corn/potato than you normally would on SB (just so you do have diversity).

Any comments or advice would be welcomed.  However I also realize that I may be the only one out there that is having to deal with this!

Thanks,

Lisa.

I know that a company called Bob's Red Mill has a ton of gluten free products and they can be ordered on-line.

Unfortunately I don't have the link, but it should be easy to find.
