In case you didn't watch The Biggest Loser, America is deciding who will join Vicky and Michelle in the top three for the finale next week.  Voting is only through this evening; here's a link so you can cast your vote for who you WANT TO SEE as the third finalist.  (Normally they vote for who to eliminate, but in this case you are voting for who stays.)

You're totally right. I mean, they do teach them to make healthier choices, and to count calories and stuff. But it's just such a different environment being on campus, as opposed to being out in real life. There aren't many temptations on campus and you're forced to workout at least 4 hours a day, which is so different from real life.

I bet that's why they started doing couples, instead of just singles, because people are more likely to stick with it once they got home if they had someone who was in it with them.

I think they do try to educate them (while they are at the ranch) in what they should be eating and what to look for in order to continue eating healthy.

When I met Roger, from last season, and shared my stash of SB cereal bars with him, he at least knew what to look for on the nutritional label...and did so, before he slipped it in his pocket to eat later. We talked a little bit about finding good low-sugar, high protein/fiber snacks. And the fact that there wasn't a single thing being sold around there that was 'diet friendly'. He said he was prepared just to wait until later to eat something healthy, until I showed up. But he realized it was not the best thing for him to go long periods without eating.

So I think the information is made available to them, if they want to bother to learn it. But I doubt learning that information is forced on them, like the exercise is.

I'm also really happy with the winner and also laughed with the "landside" decision.

I'm addicted to Biggest Loser so I'll be watching the next season as well.
