With the hustle and bustle of the holidays upon us, it's helpful to be prepared with a SBD-friendly snack on hand.  Share your favorites here, and maybe get ideas for some new ones!

Nuts, dried apricots, snack bars or pre-counted out serving of spelt pretzels.

Keeping snacks in the car would be a good idea.

I don't keep snacks in my car, but I do try to keep some in my purse, right now I have a Kashi TLC bar, but I also sometimes keep some nuts

I usually keep a Kashi bar in the car, since they keep well.

I bought a little insulated lunch pack that I grab when leaving the house. It has room for an ice pack. Usually I will cut up an apple, place it in a ziploc bag and add about a teaspoon of lemon or lime juice to keep it fresh. I also throw a cheese stick in there or some kind of nuts. And then I add a diet green tea (mixed berry is my favorite), and I'm good to go!!! If I'm out of diet green tea, I will make up a sf Crystal Lite, Ocean Spray or SB Tide Me Over drink.

I always have at least 2 or 3 SB cereal bars that I keep in my purse.

This has become a regular thing for me. I never leave the house without some kind of snack with me.

I almost never leave the house without a low sodium V-8, Trader Joe's light cheese stick, Kashi bar, and a couple of bottles of water. Having these snacks to choose from have saved me countless times from eating something I shouldn't.

I don't keep anything in my car, but always have a SB bar or two in my diaper bag, just in case. If I know I'll be out for a while, I'll take some Triscuits and a mini Babybel Light, or a banana, or a bag of cashews or almonds. Lately I've been taking baked oatmeal bars, yum. I always keep a bottle of water in the diaper bag as well. Love the diaper bag, can stash more stuff in it than my purse. ;-)

Sometimes we do get hungry and a snack isn't going to cut it or you've got the kids with you and you need to stop at a fast food restaurant.
