We're down to the last few weeks. Our check-in numbers have dwindled, but I hope it's still helping people stay on track. Check in here to report your progress. Are you being faced with lots of baked goods or sweets in the office, or receiving them as gifts? If so, how are you handling these?
Well, I've finally had a lower weigh-in on a Wednesday...that makes me happy. I'm also .2 of a pound away from my lowest low...that makes me happy.
Dealing with holiday treats is easy...I eat them! Actually, there aren't that many, since this is the busiest time of the year for us, no one has time to bake anything. Unfortunately, since this is the busiest time of the year for us dinner is provided and I believe the words 'whole wheat' are banned from the menus. But, I'm sticking to mostly salads, and then eating what I want - the food is really good (and non-SB), and I know myself well enough that if I don't eat any of the 'bad food' it will back fire. So I fill-up 3/4 of my plate with salad (no dressing) and then allow myself a little of the 'good' stuff.
Past Races:
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern
I didn't weigh in this morning- but last I checked I was up three pounds from my cruise and then realized AF is on the way, so the scale is tucked safely away for awhile.
Even though I won't hit my goal, I have gotten *very* disciplined about getting up and working out for an hour in the morning, so that alone was worth it! I have not given up the fight...I know I will see 130 on that scale!!!

I'm still maintaining at about 2½ - 3 pounds lost since we started the challenge.

Alright...I just checked the original challenge thread from October 1st.
Lindsy,
I have a feeling that you are well within an acceptable weight range for your height.
