I am full of questions today, sorry.
Does anyone else get really hungry when they eat vegetables. it seems like whenver I at them even with protein I am hungrier after. Like this morning I was not really hingry for a snack but I ate some celery and hummus. 15 minutes later my stomach was growling. it happens alot.
Also, I know we need to eat 4.5 cups of veggies a day but is it ok to eat more? Usually I have to struggle to get them all in but yesterday I ate alot more than usual b/c I made a big salad for lunch. I would not think it would be an issue but I just wanted to double check

Hi Tracie!
You could be feeling more hungry afterward because it's getting your metabolism going, but that's just a guess. Or it could be that it wasn't enough calories (because veggies are usually low in calories) and your body is just letting you know it's still hungry. I can't remember ever having that problem though, so I don't know for sure.
Yes, you can have as many veggies as you like! I frequently eat 7-8 cups a day. The 4.5 cups is just a minimum. Enjoy!
Eat as many as you want!
Absolutely!
Hi Tracie! I tend to get hungrier in the late afternoon between lunch and dinner, even if I've had a snack. I have found that I really just need a bite of something... a later snack of 1oz lowfat cheese seems to hold me over.
