Hi All,
Now that I plan on posting more, I thought I should introduce myself! I'm Melissa. I'm here to lose 20 pounds for sure, and some more too maybe! I was 207 when I delivered my daughter a month ago, and am now at 178..... most of that loss was from having her, but I've been doing the SB for a week tomorrow, and have lost 3 pounds.
In September 2005 I had done the SB and lost 20 pounds in one month. I ended up doing P1 for the entire month, and basically ended up not eating. Definitley not the way to go, and I obviously gained the weight back. I had planned on doing P1 again for a month, but realized quickly that it wouldn't help me lose the weight long term.
More about me .. I'm engaged, no wedding date set yet though -- want to make sure I feel good before we set dates. My fiance is Lee. I also have two amazing kids. DS is 28 months, and DD is one month tomorrow (as previously mentioned). I'm currently on my MAT leave until November 2009.
I'd like to be down to 160 by May or June ... but we'll see how that goes. Oh, and I signed up for the gym again on Tuesday and plan to go 3 days a week once DH gets home from work. I've gone twice this week and plan to go again tomorrow. I had a c-section with DD so I'm just walking on the treadmill for now, but once I get the go ahead from my doctor I plan on running, and lifting some weights.
Okay, that's all I can think of! I'm SO excited I found this board, and am looking forward to receving some support from people going through the same thing!!!!
