Is anyone else added Chia Seeds as part of their diet?  (yes the same seeds that you can grow as Chia Pets)

I tried to do a search, but could not find anyone who has mentioned them.

I added them as part of my diet back in November after my borther in-law introduced me to them and have been hooked ever since.

Is anyone else taking them?

Hi!

Sometimes I use chia seeds in baking as an egg replacer. I've been meaning to add them to my smoothies also. I've also heard that some people like to make a pudding out of chia seeds, but I've never tried it.

How do you use them?

You might want to think about ditching your flax seeds and switching to chia seeds.

Katy,

I have even used them to thicken gravies instead of corn starch or flour.

I'm not quite sure where you can purchase them in the States.

I bought mine online, but I've also seen them in a few health food stores. They're also known as Salba.

Hope this helps!
