Dim Sum

My boss is taking my whole group out for lunch on Thursday...unfortunately her (and my) original choice was changed from Legal Seafood to Dim Sum. Not my idea of a "reward" lunch, but I was out voted.

Anyway, my question is simple. Is there ANYTHING legal at Dim Sum? I've been a couple times before and wasn't overly impressed and that was Pre-SB.

I'm pretty sure nothing is legal, but on the off chance it is, I don't want to "waste" a cheat meal.

In case it makes a difference, this is "real" Dim Sum and I don't eat the following things: chicken feet, intestine, stomach, blood, etc.

Thanks for your help!

-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)

I can't think of anything that would be legal.

I knew it was a long shot to find anything legal. Moderation isn't a problem for me at Dim Sum - since most of it I really don't like.

Nope, you're out of luck, this Chinese girl says.

Grains are all white, meat is greasy, and there is hardly a vegetable in sight.

Whenever I go out for dim sum, I order a plate of Chinese broccoli.

One of my Dim Sum obsessed co-workers would eat chicken feet at every single meal if she could.

She complained the other day that she's gained 3 pounds in 2 YEARS. The poor thing weighs 90 pounds now. Perhaps I should print out the P1 information for her?

Thanks for all of your suggestions! Good news, we decided that we are going to go to Legal Seafoods today - so legal options without a problem!

I'll keep these in mind since we are still planning to go to Dim Sum, but at least for today it's "legal" in more ways than one.
