snack packs?

Are the sugar free snack packs okay in phase II (I'm still phase I right now so I'm not eating them) as an occasional dessert or should I declare them DH's and pack them in his lunches? lol. I bought them before I started this diet b/ they were only 60 calories and sugar free but I just glanced at the package and it has 11g of carbs. Is that horrible for a dessert? I compared it to my SBD kraft cereal bars and those are higher in calories, fat, sat. fat, sodium, carbs, and sugar. Just curious what you guys think. I've read somewhere on the internet to not eat the snack packs and eat the homemade only. But there is tons of unreliable and incorrect info on the internet pertaining to this diet. This has also made me second guess my SBD bars. UGH! So many things to think about before I eat anything. haha.

The reason that the snack pack pudding isn't recommended on South Beach is because it contains either high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oil.

If you're still in Phase 1, hold off on the pudding until Phase 2.

I'll defintately stick to the box. I wont eat it during phase I either. I was just curious if I was allowed in phase two. But the box sounds like a better choice when the time comes. Thanks so much you guys!
