Love them! I tired making one last night using a leaf of kale, a leaf of collard green, 1 banana and 1 apple and 1 c. soy milk and it was pretty gross! It was super thick and tasted the way freshly mowed lawn smells. So after reading some more I decided to do 2 cups of water, 1 banana, 1 apple and 1/2 as much collard green, no kale and it was yummy! Kale is super strong flavored and overpowered everything so if I use it again it will be in a smaller amount. It tasted more fruity, and was apple sauce texture but not too thick. But the best part was how it made me feel I had so much energy! I was volunteering at a Lions Club pancake festival today so I was on my feet busy for 5 hours and I wasn't hungry at all. I drank the smoothie around 10:30 and by the time I got in at 4 I was hungry, but not starving. Also, I read a lot saying they help reduce cravings for sweets but I can't really tell if they do or not because the south beach WOE does the same and I haven't been too interested in junk for a while now, I was around pancakes all day and I had no desire to have one.

Anyway...the point to all this is Green smoothies are awesome and everyone should give them a try!

Oh now that sounds great. My sons both have acne prone skin and I wonder if it will help them. I guess it won't hurt to try.

I hope it helps them I also read on Fitsugar.com that refined flour is also linked to outbreaks because of the spikes that it causes in blood sugar, which affect the skin.
