Just a question about being a buddy to a new person....is this mainly for conversations and info off of the board, such as in emails back and forth?

I'd love to have a buddy :-)

Here's my info:

No children whatsoever. I'm a single girl (24), and back in college although I live off campus.

I work retail, and I have fairly odd hours these days. I do eat out a lot more often lately, especially when I get called in to work extra hours. I'm also usually broke, so I've become pretty good at figuring out what fast-food stuff is edible!

I exercise a lot, although I've been slacking off this last week. I usually do yoga or run and weight train.

I'd be happy with any buddy you want to pair me up with :-)

Hey SUsan,

I'm a 19yr old female college student. I'm 5'6 , 150lbs. I 'd like to go down to 135lbs. It's winter break so i thought this would be the perfect month to get my stuff together and start losing the weight. I really need to lose the weight. I have the apple shape figure, with my bust carrying most of the extra weight on my body. I 'm just sick of it already its too depressing sometimes.

I do Tae Bo religiously and I also so some at home weight training. I'm an active kid but I need to get the dieting going. So I'm going to start SBD with phase 1. My biggest problem is trying to figure out what to eat for breakfast. I don't want to eat eggs every morning. I'm trying to cut back on coffee, although I only drink one cup per day. ANd i'm also cutting back on red meat. SO it has been all chicken and fish for me for the last 2-3 weeks. So i guess thats it. Hope to hear from someone soon.

sounds like you're already on the right track. A breakfast suggestion that saved me---low fat cottage cheese. (i figured if it was a phase 1 approved snack, i was in the clear for breakfast.) you might also try the celery and laughing cow cheese with some cashews. hey...whatever it takes, right?
