Fabulous Friday Phase 2 Check In

TGIF Time! WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!! I am so ready for the weekend and for trying to catch up on sleep. How is everyone doing today? I hope Candi will have some good news about her DD. How was your anniversary Rebecca? My dk Misha is full of energy and is always hungry the past day or so. LOL I think that's a good sign. I must be a mom since I get excited over things like this....she urinated just over the side of her box again last night and when cleaning it up I saw it was normal color...NO BLOOD!!! I am so very happy the antibiotics (even just the half dose one pill a day) seem to be helping. :-)

I will be checking back here this afternoon since I'll be home then.

Brekky (like we used to call it in Scotland. LOL): The usual on the go....Canadian Bacon, 2% cheese, coffee & V-8. I forgot to put my ff Land of Lakes half & half in my coffee (which I bring to work in a Thermos) this morning. I ended up using some of my co-workers ff (I think non-dairy) stuff. It was Amaretto flavored. I don't know if it's totally SB friendly, but I guess I'll survive. Thankfully I had Splenda packets in my purse.

Snack: yogurt

Lunch: Something at home. I will maybe have tuna & some salad.

Snack: pistachios

Dinner: I'll have to think about this & report back

Enjoy your day!! It's sunny here :-)

Suzy

Good morning everyone,

I'm glad to hear your cheeriness, Suzy. It's about time things improved for little Mishie. Enjoy your Friday afternoon with her!

We had a lovely anniversary celebration last night -- went to a beautiful Italian restaurant, way too expensive, of course, but we were pretty good with SBD. At home we dutifully had our Metamucil cocktails to start. Then at the restaurant, I started out with a plateful of asparagus, and dh had cucumber salad. He continued with an SBD-friendly entree, stuffed sole, and I had homemade cheese ravioli. The good thing is, there were hardly any of them on my plate, so it wasn't too bad a cheat! And neither of us had dessert.

Today, the sun seems to be out here -- the clouds keep fighting to take over, but I like to think the sun will prevail.

dh told me we could take that trip next weekend to the Adirondack mountains (somewhere near Candi!) so I hope it's really true -- I could look forward to that. He's in physical therapy now and hopefully that won't tire him out too much.

We are still thinking of Candi -- I hope you don't have to go another weekend with no news. Congrats to Jennifer (bakedtofu) who had good news at work -- and the other Jennifer has fabulous menus, always. sixducks, I hope your kids are feeling better today. Mary Ann, what fabulous dish are you planning for today? Leslie, hope your day is a great one. Who else am I missing -- hope to hear from everyone today.

So here's to a happy start to the weekend.

My plan for today:

breakfast: Tricia's ww blueberry pancakes (leftovers), turkey bacon, tom juice, coffee (Suzy, my store was out of LOL FF half & half and I miss it a lot!)

snack: ?

lunch: mixed salad, cottage cheese, maybe 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich with tomato

snack: ? maybe deviled eggs

dinner: turkey burgers on grill, grilled eggplant and/or yellow squash, SF LF ice cream for dessert

Make it a great day!

Rebecca

I'm so happy to say that the 3 lbs that I gained back last week appear to be just water weight. I'm back to my normal weight now -- I mean the weight I am after being on SBD.

I'm so relieved! Now I just want to lose a few more pounds.

Here's today:

B: Uncle sam & skim milk, 10 cashews

S: Plum

L: Chinese Food (probably steamed chicken and broccoli, no rice)

S: FF Peach Yogurt

D: Steak & Veggies, Salad

Hi everyone!

No - still no news on Emilee. I haven't gotten a call back yet even from her regular doctor. I'm just getting ready to call and raise some heck! Now I know how Suzy felt earlier in the week. Speaking of Suzy - I'm glad Misha's doing better. Along the "cat front", I have to tell you guys that my Molly has decided that the light Readi-Whip I use on desserts is pretty good. Most cats come running at the sound of the can opener - mine comes for the sound of the Readi-Whip squirting out. It's so funny to see. Rebecca - so glad you had a nice dinner last night. So - you're coming my way for a weekend? I'll have to look for some good things for you all to do if you would like some suggestions.

Here's my day so far, and boy am I glad it's Friday!

B: Tricia's pancakes with SF blackberry jam

S: none - I was out of the office at a meeting

L: cottage cheese and tomatoes, SF jello

S: cheese stick

D: no idea yet - the cupboards are bare so maybe order out (I'll get a salad)

S: PB yogurt

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! It finally has stopped raining here - at least for the moment.

Happy Friday!!! Man, I am so happy. I stayed up way too late again last night. Up till 11:30 making the ww oat muffins. Actually I made 4 batches. 2 with blueberries and raspberries and 2 with banana. But this time I made them in baking dishes and made the banana in loaves. It was easier to pour in the batter then scooping into muffin cups. It sure turned out good. I always modify the recipe a little. It's not sweet enough for me so I add splenda and more brown sugar substitute. I also added both pecans and walnuts. YUMMY!!!

Suzy, I'm so happy to read Misha is doing so good. I told you she would be fine. Did you ask your vet about those tablets that help break downs the acidity of food and protects the cat's bladder? Anyways, I'm glad you are doing okay. Now maybe you can get some much needed rest without having to worry about the furbabies. Now you just need to get dh healthy. :)

Yes, I hope today brings good news to all. I hope candi hears about dd, I hope rebecca starts her catering business, and I hope jennifer (?) gets her job or did she? I'm sure I'm leaving someone out. Have we heard from nitenurse lately? Okay one to the menu..

b: blueberry/raspberry ww oat muffin and banana bread slice w/ lt.lc cheese and butter

s: yogurt

l: left over grilled chicken w/ mashed cauliflower

s: ww pizza slice

d: ??

s: blueberry/raspberry ww oat muffin w/ lc cheese

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Tricia

Hi Candi,

It looks like we're heading to the Adirondacks on Thursday for a long weekend. Yay, I can finally get away! It's been a long time since our last trip anywhere!

Hi Tricia!

You and I are such night owls lately. LOL Your muffins sound sooooo good. I think I can smell them now!

Do you remember what those tablets were called for a cat's bladder? I will write it down to ask when I speak to her again.

I think I'll take a nap with Misha & any other dk that is brave enough to join us. ;-)

Hugs,

Suzy

Hello NJ Correspondent! Giggle!

I'm so glad you had such a nice anniversary celebration. You both are so dedicated to have passed up dessert! LOL How exciting that you're going to the Adirondack mountains! You both need a break. Who will watch your dk? If you have a digital camera, please take lots of pictures so we can enjoy the sights and live vicariously through you! :-)

My lunch ended up being 1/2 c black beans & some leftover tuna. Nothing exciting, but it was sufficient.

I have so much to do, but I'd love a nap.....

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs,

Suzy
