Good Sunday Morning!

I'm here feeding & pilling the cat again. LOL Ready to go back & sleep in....can you tell? ;-)

I hope you all have a nice, relaxing Sunday. (Try not to think about tomorrow).

I will come back & edit this with my menu. Now I have no idea. I should start planning menus in advance though.

Anyone going for a nice Sunday stroll?

Talk to you soon!

Suzy

I'm back.....(edit)

I didn't eat until noon (Bad girl.LOL)

I had 2 scrambled eggs with sauteed mushrooms & lite L Cow Cheese, lf Canadian Bacon, 1 slice whole wheat bread w/ sf fruit jelly, V-8, coffee.

I guess that's my breakfast & lunch & snacks for today....giggle! I may have a snack later this afternoon, and then plan on either chicken or fish w/ veggies for dinner.

I'm thinking of signing up for the Message Boards Plus service. What do you guys use & like? The "Express Yourself" or the "Express Yourself Plus"? I want to have a nicer website and have my postings look better with photos, etc. The only thing I can't utilize is the spell check which they don't provide for us Mac users. Oh well.

Enjoy your afternoon!

Suzy

Good Sunday morning. I thought I slept in but it was just 8am. It felt more like 9. Went over to my mom and dads (across the yard to their RV) and dad was making a wonderful sbd friendly breakfast of eggs w/ spinich and onions and feta. I'm so happy they are willing to try new things. Dad really likes it.

I am going to do housework this morning and get ready for the work week. This way I can play all afternoon and not worry that I still need to clean house or do laundry. We're going to the fair late this afternoon. Should be fun. I wish I could stay for the fireworks but they don't do them until night which is just around 10pm. It's hard to believe that July is halfway through. Man the time just flies by. I remember as kid how summer seemed like it lasted forever and I was always excited for the first day of school ( I know, what a nerd)

Well let's see how today goes. I gained a few pounds back but I think it's water because I eat a lot of salt when I have chicken and I've eaten chicken for dinner and lunch since Thursday night.

b: eggs w/ spinich, onions, feta. 2 patties of itallian sausage

s: nothing, ate late breakfast

l: turkey and ham ww wrap w/ romaine lettuce and cucumber

s: ??

d: ?? try not to eat fair food

s: ?? maybe sf/ff pudding

TTFN,

Tricia

Afternoon Maryann!

I hope you're enjoying your time with your visitors. Where are they from? I used to live in London back in the 80's.

Your menu looks very tasty! I hope you're having nice weather there for their visit.

Hugs,

Suzy

Hi Tricia!

Your parents are so cool trying SB and everything. I wish my parents were so supportive. I hope you have a great time at the fair. Maybe try eating something SB friendly before you go so you're not tempted to munch while you're there. I am sure you'll lose that water weight real fast.

Summer sure is going fast, isn't it? If dh would wake up we might go to the zoo. We'll see....

Dk Misha is here napping with him...giggle! How cute!

Talk to you later....

Suzy, you wrote: "Maybe try eating something SB friendly before you go so you're not tempted to munch while you're there." You wrote munch instead of much. LOL. Made me giggle. Oh wait maybe you did mean munch. Whatever, I'm the silly one I guess.

Just getting ready to go. You are right that I need to have some snacks before I go and to take with me. Definitely nothing sbd friendly at the fair. I had asparagus and fish for lunch. I think I've been eating too much of my blueberry bread and my banana bread. I thought it would be easier to make into loaves instead of in the muffin cups but instead I eat more of it instead of just grabbing a little muffin. Next time I'll stick to the muffin cups.

Have a good day everyone. Did we hear from Rebecca today? A lot of people must be out enjoying their Sunday today. Talk to you tomorrow.

Love,

Tricia

Hello my friends,

Tricia, it's so nice to be missed! It's a good sign that I'm not checking in till 7:39. Shows I've been busy!!!

Went to church this morning, then food shopping, then cooking, then off to movies, movie was sold out, home to throw dinner into crockpot, back to later movie. Now that we're done with dinner I can check in with you all!

Lots of rain here today. Made the movies possible, which is a good thing! We saw Spiderman, and it was fun. Suzy, they even were going to do a laminectomy in the movie! That made me LOL! Told dh that he'd have to tell his doctor about it. I brought a pillow but I think dh was too proud to sit on it. Bless his heart, I know he was sore at the end from sitting so long, but we did have fun. Movies are such a fun date.

Here's what we ate today:

Breakfast: spinach, onion & parmesan omelettes; turkey bacon; tom juice (no toast-- we're trying to avoid bread for a while)

Lunch: Leftover lemon chicken, cauliflower puree, squash; salad

Snack: Pistachios at the movie

Dinner: ww spaghetti, more sauce than pasta (tomato sauce with mushrooms, peppers, fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil)

Dessert: banana ricotta creme with choc chips

I'm glad you all had a good day -- Tricia, you are the garage sale queen. Mary Ann, good luck with those guests again. Hope we continue to hear from you -- I remember, you give up your computer room! Suzy, glad you had some good sleep. You needed that -- now get some good sleep tonight because, well, you know those Monday mornings how horrible they can be! I hope we hear from Candi. And both Jennifers!

I'm looking forward to my weekend up north -- am already thinking of all the SBD-friendly foods I'll need to pack (tom juice, turkey bacon, ricotta, SF jello, maybe black beans, will have to think of more!)

Everyone, enjoy the rest of your Sundays.

Hugs,

Rebecca

Tee Hee....I did mean "munch", but now I can see how it could have been replaced with "too much" instead. ;-)

Did you have a nice time?

I hope Rebecca got to see Spiderman today. Gonna read her post next....

Good Evening Rebecca!

I'm trying to get to bed, but we watched a DVD movie and just got finished.

I'm glad you liked Spiderman 2. We don't remember the part with a laminectomy, but it's been a few weeks so I guess I've forgotten. Sorry your dh was soar from sitting. Sounds like mine. Hopefully that will improve more & more over the next weeks. :-)

I'm glad you two have such a nice trip coming up. You will enjoy that I'm sure! I look forward to hearing all about it when you return!

Sweet Dreams & I'll talk to you tomorrow (Mondays are AWFUL. Sigh)
