Good Morning Friends!

Just gave dk her pill and am getting ready to leave for work. Dh is having trouble sleeping, but is hanging in there.

I read yesterday that Candi was going to hear something about DD? I am praying it is good news!! (((Hugs))) I also want to say congratulations to you Candi on your 29 lb weight loss so far. Way to Go!!!!

Welcome back Stella! It's good to see you. I'm not sure about the 4 lb, but maybe since you were so active in Hawaii it's helped tone you up. It could depend on what types of food & drink you have also. Enjoy not being bloated & I'm sure the 4 lb will drop right off!

Congrats to Jen for her amazing loss, too! So many of you are doing so awesome on SB! You are all an inspiration. :-)

Morning Rebecca! How's dh doing this morning? Are you two going for your walk?

Morning Tricia! How are you doing today?

Greetings also to Mary, Maryann, Tea (how's P1 going for you so far?), Jennifer, & everyone else here. (Forgive my usual sleepiness in forgetting to mention you by name).

I'm hanging in there on P1 with Tea & it sounds like with Stella too this week :-)

Breakfast: usual turkey & Canadian bacon w/ lf cheese, coffee

Snack: Yogurt

Lunch: tuna & green beans

Snack: mozz stick

Dinner: lean boneless pork chop & sauteed mushrooms & zuchinni

Have a great day!

Suzy

I am doing such a good job on Phase 1 right now, I'm surprising myself. I had such bad memories of Phase 1 from the first go-around, but after doing this WOE for a few months going back to Phase 1 is not that difficult.

Sounds like you're doing well, Suzy!

Here's today:

B: 1 egg, 2 strips soy bacon

S: cheesestick

L: Chef Salad

S: V8

S2 (gym day): FF Vanilla yogurt

D: Thai Chicken and veggies

Dessert: Fudgepop

Looking very good Tea!

Does the soy bacon taste good?

The recipe I'm using is from these boards:

http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-fdoncemonth&msg=4871.1&ctx=512

Never made it, but it looks great.

I really like the morningstar sausage patties. Don't think I could live without them. This was my first try on the morningstar bacon, and it was OK. I'm a bacon fanatic, so I think anything that resembles bacon will be good enough for me. Objectively, though, it wasn't all that good. I'd stick to the sausage patties. Most days I just do eggs, though.

After yesterday I don't feel like getting to Saturday will be all that difficult. I am, though, planning to have fruit on Saturday...strawberries!

Hi Tea,

I've never tried Soy bacon. Have you tried Louis Rich turkey bacon? It's made by Oscar Mayer. My dh and I both love it.

The foster farms or turkey store brand turkey sausage links are pretty tasty. The cook up pretty quickly on the george foreman grill. I can always tell when I have too many healthy carbs. My weight loss slows a bit. It's not hard for me to forgo bread because I was that addicted to it. My areas of concern were the cravings for sugar and fast food. So far so good on avoiding those two items though.

take care,

Proud of both of you for working through p1 again.

Good morning my Friends,

It's a gorgeous day here but I know it will be a hot afternoon.

So my dh agreed we can go back to P1 on July 28. We'll have to cut out cereal, bread, rice, ww pasta, fruits, and sweet potatoes. And also wine! I think we can do it for 2 weeks.

So meanwhile, I'm trying to shake things up on our menu. No more bread for a while. And since you all are doing so well on them, it's fudgicles for dessert at least till the weekend (they would be kind of hard to drive 5 hours with, given how hot it is!)

Here's today:

Breakfast: Eggs with tomato, onion, spinach, LF Jarlsberg; turkey bacon; tom juice; coffee

Lunch: salad, tuna, deviled egg

Snack: yogurt with blueberries

Dinner: Turkey Chili or else I'll put the turkey tomato sauce over spaghetti squash. Maybe I'll stuff it with the leftover brown rice into some peppers -- not sure till I go to the store

Dessert: fudgicle (with PB for me -- yum)

Suzy, how is your dh today? Is Misha all better by now, and frolicking with her fursiblings?

Candi, I'm thinking of you!

Stella, welcome back. Glad to hear your vacation was awesome.

Jennifer (baked tofu) how are you doing? Staying busy at work?

Tricia, are your parents still visiting?

Mary, hope your kids are all better by now.

And to everyone else (I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but don't mean to! ) - make it a great Tuesday!

Rebecca

We only had one overcast day with light showers. It's blue sky as far as you can see now w/ a light breeze. I love Washington. Of course nothing is air conditioned here because it's only like this 30 days out of the year LOL!!!
