Hi Tea!
I'm so glad you're doing well this week on P1 and I'm glad too that we could do it together.
Hello Tricia!
You should be having fun with your new bike!
You are AMAZING Mary!
Morning Maryann!
I hope you're enjoying your visit with your friends from England. :-)
Everyone's menu sounds so enticing today. I think we are a good influence on each other!
I'm excited about our trip -- we're leaving tomorrow morning around 10:30 & driving north to the Adirondack mountains (still south of Candi, I believe). Hopefully dh's back won't be too sore, we'll get along with my family and won't have to eat non-SBD foods (my three worries, in that order). I am packing a grocery bag & cooler with the essentials.
So today, I'm cleaning, packing, cooking. Making a batch of the oatmeal muffins -- going to enjoy my last blueberries before we return to P1 next week.
Candi, please call your doctor and say, "I'm sorry, doctor, this is simply unacceptable. My daughter's testing was done on June x and it's now been x weeks. I need to know the results. I expect an answer today." I don't want you having to do anything kinky with handcuffs LOL. Too bad we are all spread out across the country -- I'm sure we would otherwise all agree to band together and storm his office. We are there for you in spirit!
Tricia, am so glad your dh will be back for your anniversary. I think we have a lot of summer brides here.
Sixducks, when is your birthday? If you won't say, Happy Birthday anyway!
Jennifer, your menus always look so enticing. MaryAnn, you get the prize for the most detailed menu planning.
Suzy, is it still hot & humid there? I hope you can get in a walk, maybe tonight after dinner when it cools off a bit. What about a walk around the campus at lunchtime?
Stella, welcome back. Bakedtofu, how are you doing?
Anyone else I might be missing, ((Hugs)) to you all! I don't mean to leave anyone out. Also, we *always* welcome and expect newcomers :)
Here's my menu for today:
Breakfast: spinach/tomato omelettes; turkey bacon; tom juice; coffee
Snack: 1/2 pear with PB
Lunch: Chili and Cottage Cheese (plan to turn my leftover turkey tom. sauce into chili by adding beans & some cumin I think)
Snack: celery with vache qui rit
Dinner: Chicken, Zucchini Stir Fry, Tossed Salad; Ricotta Creme for dessert
Exercise: dh & I went for a walk today; I will vaccuum & also swim laps; I also lifted weights at home this morning
Water: continually drinking.
Take care all,
Rebecca
Rebecca, I'll be 30 on saturday.
