Feel Good Friday Phase 2 Check In

Good Morning!

We made it once again to Friday!  Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!    It's much cooler out today here.  It's supposed to only be in the 70's.  I can handle that after suffering all the high heat & humidity lately.

Last night was interesting. (And why I didn't make it here to the board).  My dad lost his Shih Tzu after 15 years, last January.  He's 76 and swore he wouldn't get another dog since he's too old, and didn't want to be tied down in case he'd travel, etc.  Well a woman he knows found out about a woman who had a 4 1/2 year old female Shih Tzu named Emma.  She has to give Emma up since her job is now going to have her traveling often around the country, and she's selling her house & moving into an apartment.  She said my dad could have Emma for a week as a trial to see if he'd like to have her.  I know my dad....he won't be able to turn her away after a week! LOL  Emma seemed very sweet...but obviously missed her mom when she left.  She looks like she'll need to go on special lite dog food, since she's a bit overweight.  I will post a photo this weekend once I figure out how to do that with this new Express Yourself thing I'm trying.

Misha is doing fine.  She has a vet appt on Monday morning to get rechecked and probably to get her rabies shot.  I love that she's so playful, but last night she was wanting to play at 1am....so I had to put her in her room.  At 5:30 I heard her banging on the door (she learns all the tricks. LOL) so I had to relent and let her out.  Poor dh (who sleeps till 8am usually) won't get much sleep I suspect. ;-)   She's probably meowing and playing as I speak!

I sure hope Rebecca & her dh made it safely to their destination yesterday.  I'm sure they're having a wonderful vacation!  I'm so impressed with how organized she was at planning her meals for the trip.  That goes to show how SB isn't a diet, but a way of life.

I am sorry if I missed any news since I haven't read all of yesterday's posts yet....did Candi find out any news on DD?  I'm thinking of you sweetie!

I'd better get to work (sigh) but at least it's a half day!  Hello to Tricia, Tea, Jennifer (both of you!), Mary, Maryann, Stella, and everyone else.  I will be back this afternoon.

Breakfast:  on the go again... 2 lf cheese slices & a yogurt, V-8, Coffee

Snack:  Forgot to bring one

Lunch: (I will come back and add this info this afternoon when I know.....)

Hugs,

Suzy

Good morning Suzy and all my great sbd friends. Well I finally got myself together and up early to make breakfast and drink some coffee before rushing off to work. And it's Friday. Too bad I can't get this organized on Mondays.

Very exciting news for your dad. I'm sure he would make a great new parent for this little doggie. If he travels he always has the other animal lover of the family to take over for a little while (wink).

I hope Rebecca is enjoying her trip and her dh didn't suffer too much pain on the drive up. Yes let's pray that Candi get's some answers about dd today. Let's all celebrate Mary's weightloss. What comes around goes around. I'm ready to lose a few more.

b: 2 eggs, green onions, spinich, feta. 3 slices lr turkey bacon

s: 2 celery stalks w/ all natural pb

l: 2 small fillets of cajun blackend fish w/ squash, onions, asparagus.

s: sliced cucumber

d: Turkey itallian sausage w/ red and yellow peppers with carb options spaghetti sauce, sprinkled w/ mozzeralla.

Hi everyone!

Finally finished my training on our new billing system, so I should be around more.

No news on Emilee yet. When I go to lunch, I'm calling up there and will not hang up till I get an answer! Sixducks, if I have any problems, I'm getting the phonebook - which heading would "handcuffs" be under? Once again, Sixducks, thanks for a much needed laugh.

Tricia - be sure to keep that weather out on your side of the country - we don't want it here!!!

Suzy - it's so great that Misha is playing all of the time. She definitely must feel much better and more comfortable in her new surroundings. Kudos to you for being such a great Mommy!

I hope Rebecca and her dh did well on their trip and have a great mini-vacation.

Here's my menu:

B: PB yogurt, V8

S: cucumbers

L: cottage cheese with tomatoes and cucumbers, SF jello

S: string cheese

D: the pulled pork I have in the crock at home and broccoli and salad

S: SF, FF pudding of some kind

Have a great day everyone! TGIF.

Thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy they finally told you. Did they say why it took so long? So is DD all better or are you still concerned? I'm so happy you finally got the answer you were looking for.

Bless you and dd,

Tricia
