Fabulous Friday Phase 2 Check In

TGIF It's
time for the "Finally Friday" dance! Yippee!!! Hey Rebecca, I bet
you're catching my Friday fever now with your new job...LOL! I sure hope you
had a good week. I am actually sad (for a rare change) that it's Friday because
it means my week off work is nearly over. It went way too fast!

Dh &
I only managed to walk twice yesterday. He just runs out of steam after awhile,
and I can understand why.

The Dks
are fighting less often...thank goodness. They aren't exactly friends yet, but
I'm still hoping. Patches is still getting antibiotic drops in her eyes to clear
up her infection. Misha seems to be fine at long last.

Where's
our Candi? I'm getting worried. And where's our Lori? I hope she's o.k.

Tricia,
I am so proud of you for not eating anything at the fair. I'm glad you had a
nice time in spite of a little rain.

How is Tea,
Mary, Maryann, Aimee, Jennifer(s), Stella, Leslie, and any other fellow P2ers
doing today? Please drop by and say hello!

Here goes:

Breakfast:
Eggbeater omlette with mushrooms & bell peppers, V-8, Coffee

Snack: Mozz
stick

Lunch: Salad
w/ lite deli ham, 2% cheese, olives.

Snack: sf
jello & lite whipped topping

Dinner:
fish, asparagus

Snack: fudgesicle

Have a FABULOUS
Friday!!! :-)

Suzy

Good morning Suzy and everyone,

Yes time flies! I always say, "this too shall pass," for good times & bad. Can't believe it's Friday already. Time goes faster when you're employed! :)

Here's our day:

Breakfast: sunny side up eggs with LF swiss cheese, mushrooms, onion, yellow peppers; turkey bacon; tom juice; coffee

Snack: mozz stick (fastest & easiest these days!)

Lunch: cottage cheese, leftover black beans, marinated cucumbers; plain FF yogurt with blueberries for dessert

Snack: mozz stick & some nuts

Dinner: going out! Yeah, don't have to cook! Woo-hoo, it's Friday!

Suzy, I can relate to your situation. My dh can do one lap around the park now, then he gets tired. Hope you got that dr's appointment all right. Oh, and don't worry about the cats -- they will make friends with each other. I've introduced a lot of new cat siblings to each other, and they always become best friends. Just takes time. . .

I miss everyone else -- please sign in. And newcomers are always welcome. What's everyone's plan for the weekend?

Happy Friday back at you!! When you have time off it alwasy go faster then the clock on the wall at work. Thanks for your energy this morning. I can do it! I can do it! Only one day and then the weekend.

I've been wondering where Mary and Nitenurse have been. I saw that Mary posted on the ChitChat, she said she's sick, has the tummy virus running through her home. So maybe that's why we haven't heard from her. It's weird, you get used to talking to everyone each day and when you don't hear from them you miss them and even start to worry about them. I think I'm just one of those, as dh would say, Touchy feely people!

b: t sausage with Kashi go lean waffle w/ v8

s: hb egg

l: split pea soup w/ wasa crackers and lc cheese

s: blueberry ww oat muffin w/ lc cheese

d: Greek Pizza w/ seasoned chicken (thanks for the idea Marryann)

s: ff/plain yogurt w/ blueberries

TGIF!

Tricia

Hi Suzy,I'm happy to see a little pep in your posting. How's your DH doing after his surgery. Easy does it,walking twice is showing strenght. Cats will be cats just like children & grandkids they yell & fight too.

I'm doing Ok,celebrated my DH birthday last Monday took him Whale Watching and than out for a buffet lunch. Didn't do to bad as I was eating lots of veggies & protein. But when it came to the birthday cake and dessert I went over board. Something that hasn't happened to me since starting the (SB 1 year ago last Tuesday). To fix the mess I got into doing Phase 1.5 eating lots of veggies, protein, fruit & yogurt and I'm hoping for a weight loss this Saturday WISH ME LUCK.

DH & I are also getting ready for our cruise to Panama Canal in Sept.,and found out that the cruise has a low carb menu for passagers using that way of eating. I going to watch very carefully with the white products. Going to load up on lots of veggies.

But before will head out We're going down to to see our Grandkids & family in N.Y. Thanks for asking Hugs Maryann

My Menu for today:

B=1sl black beancake with spreadable fruit, with 1/2 c 1% milk for tea

S=1 apple

L=canned chicken on a bed of greens, with a lg bowl of home made veggie/barley soup.

S=1c l/f yogurt.

D= Lg salad with flavored vinegar, veggie burger on a bed of soy beans, with 1/2 c each brocolli, collie, carrots & buttoned mushrooms.

Dessert=Fruit smoothie

Hi Suzy,

I'm still here. Just been so busy at work and home this week it's crazy.

Glad dh's surgery went well and he's healing. The kitties seem to be coming along well for you.

Here's my rushed menu for today:

B: scrambled eggs and fresh fruit, V8

S: cucumbers

L: McD's Caesar salad, SF jello

S: more cucumbers

D: Whatever I have time to make after DD's softball game

D: same as above

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

Suzy,

I'm doing pretty well. I had some bumps this week - a margherita and too much PB (as per usual!), but I've managed to keep off the weight I lost two weeks ago. Shew.

Sounds like you are doing well back on P2. Did you see any difference after doing P1 for awhile? How about the other P2'ers who did it as well?

Here's today:

1 egg, 1 sausage patty

Probably no snack

Salad with shrimp, veggies, oil, vinegar

FF raspberry yogurt

Grilled chicken, veggies

Fudgesicle

Here's to a weekend without cheats!

Hi Tea,

I was pretty faithful to P1 for the past 2 weeks. dh & I both lost about 3 lbs -- much faster than P2. My secret (I think): no bread in the house, no rice, no fruit. We've eaten eggs for breakfast every day for 2 weeks. Today I'm re-introducing blueberries & I think I'll make pancakes this weekend. Summer is slipping by and I can't give up my blueberries! We both had ww pasta last weekend and it didn't affect our weight loss, so that's a good thing!

Rebecca,

That sounds great - congrats on the progress. I felt good about going back to P1 as well. It wasn't nearly as hard for me to do the second time around. I'm on maintenance right now, but am thinking that I may do P1 for a few days before I go on vacation. I'm guessing that I'll want dessert once or twice while I'm away!

Glad you're doing so well!!

Afternoon Rebecca!

It's great that we've been through the same thing. I know that way that what dh is going through is normal. He couldn't sleep much last night....I ended up getting up at 5:30 and found him in the recliner where he said he'd been since 3am. Poor guy has his body clock all messed up. We watched the rest of "Cat from Outer Space" on DVD and then fell back asleep.

I see you've discovered the value of mozz sticks. LOL I love that you can just grab them and go when you are at work.

Have a wonderful dinner out tonight! This time you won't have to be embarrassed by any strange dinner companions. LOL Enjoy a glass of good French wine for me. :-)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Suzy
