TGIF It's
time for the "Finally Friday" dance! Yippee!!! Hey Rebecca, I bet
you're catching my Friday fever now with your new job...LOL! I sure hope you
had a good week. I am actually sad (for a rare change) that it's Friday because
it means my week off work is nearly over. It went way too fast!
Dh &
I only managed to walk twice yesterday. He just runs out of steam after awhile,
and I can understand why.
The Dks
are fighting less often...thank goodness. They aren't exactly friends yet, but
I'm still hoping. Patches is still getting antibiotic drops in her eyes to clear
up her infection. Misha seems to be fine at long last.
Where's
our Candi? I'm getting worried. And where's our Lori? I hope she's o.k.
Tricia,
I am so proud of you for not eating anything at the fair. I'm glad you had a
nice time in spite of a little rain.
How is Tea,
Mary, Maryann, Aimee, Jennifer(s), Stella, Leslie, and any other fellow P2ers
doing today? Please drop by and say hello!
Here goes:
Breakfast:
Eggbeater omlette with mushrooms & bell peppers, V-8, Coffee
Snack: Mozz

Lunch: Salad
w/ lite deli ham, 2% cheese, olives.

I love that you're touchy, feely, too! It's wonderful that we all look out for each other. :-)
I love split pea soup....and I'm glad you also like Greek food. Maryann got us on a roll! LOL
Do you have fun plans for the weekend?
Enjoy your Friday evening!
Hugs,
Suzy
I feel like I should be IM'ing you!
I'll send a more detailed email this weekend.
Am really enjoying my weekend now since I worked a full week :)
Planning to bake & cook to prepare for next week. On the agenda: oatmeal muffins, for sure!
Yes, those cheese sticks come in handy, and also having trailmix in my desk at work is handy. Quick to grab, but also discreet to eat at work. I'm also glad for PB yogurt and yogurt with fresh blueberries. They are both so filling and nice to eat at lunchtime.
We'll bring a bottle of French or Italian wine, I'm sure. It will definitely be a BYO tonight.
I guess you'll be taking it easy this weekend -- maybe you can order in dinner for a treat.
You'll learn to cope with the strange sleeping hours of dh -- my dh fell asleep at 8:30 pm for the first week!
Stay in touch.
Your friend,
Rebecca
PS I have to re download my scanner software (I think that's the problem) then will send you that information from the dr.
Thanks for asking....dh is doing pretty well. He's only taking one pain killer a day now. We haven't gone for a walk yet, but we will soon. I will worry about him next week when I'm back at work, but he knows he can call me if he needs anything.
Cats are just like kids, aren't they? I am amazed that Misha is so good natured. Patches smacked her hard last night with her paw, and Misha just ran away and didn't hit her back. Misha is the only one of our cats with front claws, but she never has used them against the others in spite of their bad behavior towards her. She is a true sweetie!
I'm glad your dh had a nice birthday. It's ok if you had some cake. You've been AMAZING sticking with SB for a year. You will reach your goal very soon I am positive. I bet you're excited about your upcoming cruise! You're doing very well if you can resist the cruise food and eat lower carb options. I'm glad they have that possibility. Enjoy visiting your grandkids!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Suzy
I'm glad you're ok. I totally understand about being busy. Time gets away from you.
Hope you enjoy dd's softball game. Hope the weather is nice there. :-) Enjoy the weekend!
Hugs,
Suzy
I'm glad to hear you're maintaining the loss. It's nice you can splurge a little and still get back on track without any damage. ;-)
I don't notice much of a difference doing P2 or P1....I think I've been losing for so long that my body has just "settled" and is maintaining a bit before losing again. I've cheated a little, though, so I can't say P1 wouldn't help more if I were 100% strict. I am being good today and will continue to do so since I am determined to get to my goal by my birthday later next month.
Have a wonderful "cheat-free" weekend, too! :-)
Suzy
It's so good to hear from you. I'm so sorry you & your baby were sick. I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope your baby will be better now that you are on lactose-free milk. You must be sooo busy home schooling all your kids! I admire your dedication.
Congrats on both your & your dh's weight loss! You are on a roll!
Hugs,
Suzy
Enjoy your evening & I will e-mail you soon!
