Good Morning P2 Group!

I finally made it into work.  It wasn't easy when the alarm went off so early this morning, but I did get up and get moving.   I've got my coffee and I'm ready to roll.

Poor dk Misha is being kept in her room today while I'm gone because dh wanted his other 3 kitties to come up and visit.  I would have preferred them to all be up and free since they need to get used to each other, but I understand he's not in any shape to referee in case they fight.

Has anyone weighed in or measured today?  Any new to report?  I will check back later to see how everyone is doing.

It's sunny & up to 80 degrees today here.

Have a good day....even if it is Monday. LOL

B:  shredded wheat & all-bran mix w/milk, coffee  (I forgot the V-8 today)

S: mozz stick

L: grilled chicken on a salad

S: yogurt

D: Not sure....may do a "breakfast for dinner" thing like omelette w/spinach & Canadian bacon for something simple.

S: fudgesicle

Hugs,

Suzy

Good morning. I agree it was tough to wake up. I must have hit snooze like 40 times! LOL. I haven't measured myself since the July 4th weekend. I wait until DH is home and have him measure me. He'll be home August 19 for our anniversary weekend. I can't wait to see the results. I'm down a pound and a half of my water weight I gained. I also have been eating a little more good carbs. I eat Kashi Go Lean cereal in my yogurt. I think that I start eating a little too much and it affects my weightloss. Does this happen to anyone else? Any other suggestions for adding crunch to your yogurt?

Happy Monday everyone,

Back to work, but still happy to have a job! :-)

Here's our day:

Breakfast: eggs sunny side up with mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions; turkey bacon; tomato juice; coffee

Snack: oatmeal/blueberry muffin

Lunch: cottage cheese, cole slaw, black & white bean salad; PB yogurt

Snack: probaby trail mix

Dinner: salmon pinwheels, string beans, salad; fudgicle or ricotta creme for dessert

Tricia, I bet you're counting the days till Aug. 19th! Have you tried adding some walnuts with the blueberries for that crunch in your yogurt? I also like to use Uncle Sam -- makes me feel virtuous and uses it up (I haven't really liked any SBD-friendly cereal yet, except oatmeal).

Suzy, when you get home just let all the cats be together and fight it out. They'll be friends in no time :)

I miss everyone else -- please check in!

Also, lurkers & newcomers are encouraged to check in as well. How is your P2 day going?

Hope everyone's Monday goes by smoothly!

Is it normal for your weight to yo-yo? I know they say don't weigh yourself every day but I have been wanting to make sure I don't lose too fast. One day I will be 186, next 188, next 189 next 188. Maybe I should just quit weighing myself every day! I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans yesterday. They were tight but I could actually button them.

B: Toast w/ICBINB spray, veggie Fake sausage

S: Celery w/pb

L: Chicken Salad Pita

S: Broccoli w/ranch dip

D: Leftovers

Hello Aimee!

Yes it is very normal for your weight to fluctuate a pound or two from day to day.

Hi everyone,

Sunny day here in Western NY today. Hopefully it will brighten my spirits. Don't know why I'm in such a bad mood these days, but I am. I guess I'm having a little trouble with body image - seeing myself in the mirror and thinking that even though I've lost 35 pounds, I still look huge and wonder what I looked like before. I'm not even sure if that makes sense, but that's how I've been feeling for the last few weeks. I'm really hoping it's something I can get past.

Here's my menu for today:

B: Uncle Sam's with skim milk, turkey bacon, V8

S: 15 almonds

L: leftover chicken, mixed veggies, and brown rice

S: string cheese

D: Don't know - probably going out

S: some kind of ricotta creme

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Suzy,

So far, it's not very interesting, but the day is going by, so that's okay.

No sign of an office move yet. . .

We're moving to P2 light, I guess. Starting with oatmeal and a few blueberries, but generally sticking to P1.

How's your day?

Rebecca
