Thrilling Thursday Phase 2 Check In

Morning Everyone!

Sorry I'm late.  I'm the only one running the Purchasing dept today.  My boss has been out all week with a bad back, and my co-worker is on vacation.

My dk (dear kitten) Meezer (until I think of a better name) has a thing for tape.  I have Sticky Paws on the furniture to train our new cats not to scratch.  It's sticky on both sides.  Meezer just is too smart....she takes the tape off with her teeth!  Yesterday I found her running around in the basement and she had some tape stuck to her chest and she must've rolled in litter, since that was on there too. LOL   I had to carefully wet the area to loosen the tape and slowly get it off her.  Then the litter was wet and turned to cement like goop....I had to cut some of that out of her fur....These kittens just get into everything!  I keep her in our bedroom while I'm at work.  Lord knows she'd get into way too much mischief if I let her run around the house without supervision! ;-)

Here's my day so far:

Breakfast:  (not really SB, but....) Nutrigrain bar

Snack: sf ff yogurt

Lunch:  grilled chicken and green beans

Snack:  2 RyKrisp crackers w/ lite laughing cow cheese

Dinner:  Probably something with chicken & veggies (have to consult my cookbook)

Snack: fudgesicle

It's sunny again and should be in the upper 80's today.

Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Kristin!

Your Joey is soooo cute!!! Thanks for sharing his photo. Our kittens are about the same age....extremely active (and mischevious)! LOL

Hang in there with those cravings. I have them too from time to time. I try keeping busy with something else interesting. I drink water, brush my teeth, whatever....just wait it out and the craving usually passes. Know that if you are actually hungry, you can go ahead and eat a healthy SB snack. Sometimes some cheese, veggies, a hard-boiled egg....can be all it takes to make you feel full. If all else fails, try a wee bit of dark chocolate. (My favorite! And legal in moderation).

I do believe the low sugar jam is legal....someone correct me if I'm wrong. I have it myself occasionally and have never gained as a result.

Hope you have a wonderful night. I'm watching my kitten & my 1 1/2 year old cat play....LOL
