So let me get this straight...

When transitioning into Phase 2 you are supposed to add one carbohydrate back a day and monitor your cravings. Are you supposed to eat the same carb for the next few days to see how it affects you?? For instance I ate 7 dried apricots yesterday, am I supposed to only eat apricots for the next few days? Or can I have a whole wheat pita today? Is it advisable to switch up the carbs like this, like have a fruit one day and a grain the next day? And when can I have two servings of carbs a day? I've read past posts, but the more I read, the more confused I get. Please help.

Thank you

Beth

Beth you need to do what feels right for you but the more slowly you reintroduce foods the more likely you will be able to dtermine which (if any) foods

Thank you for your advice. I guess I will start by just adding one carb a day and then check my progress at the end of the week.

Last night I had a soft taco on a whole wheat tortilla, and after a couple hours I felt really hungry and I was eyeing the bag of cookies in the cupboard. Instead of the cookies I had another NSA fudgesicle and waited the craving out. Thankfully I felt satisfied with the second fudgesicle and didn't mess up too badly.

Beth,

Good for you for resisting those cookies.

Beth I'm just wondering what was in the soft taco and what else did you eat with it?

You did great!
