Happy Sunday Tricia!

I'm like you....I need the support to keep honest with myself. I've been good the past two days and thankfully lost the water weight I'd gained from one day of eating chocolate & too much popcorn. (I felt awful!)

Congrats on your successful garage sale! Heaven knows I should have one of those. LOL We still have stuff from dh's deceased mom.

It sounds like you're getting all ready for your big move. I know you'll be so much happier being back with your dh & close to your parents. :-)

How did the haircut/color go? That always makes me feel better, too. I'm sure you look fabulous!!!

Talk to you soon.....

Hugs,

((((((Sara)))))) Thank you so much for sharing the ingredients!!! I will check that out. I'm going to discuss my food concerns with the vet tomorrow. I know she promotes Science Diet, but I hope she at least realizes there are other options with healthier ingredients. I don't like "chicken-by-products" which are listed on so many Science Diet formulas. (Including the one Patches eats & has been throwing up lately). Chicken or Chicken meal are better ingredients. I'm not thrillled with the corn gluten meal that is in so many foods....I will have to experiment.

I'm glad Diesel has such a loving furmom! I'm happy he likes the ProPlan. My Misha also was fed Cat Chow before she was given up to the Humane Society. Now I have her on Science Diet Chicken & Rice which she likes.

I will have to look for Proplan. Thanks again so much for your help!

Hey SuzyQ! The haircut and color was fun. My hair is really dark now. I wanted to get back to more of my natural color and it's almost black..too black. I'm sure it will tone down in a couple days and look a bit more natural, otherwise I'll have him give me a foil with some lighter brown. I'm just happy to cover up my strands of gray!!!

Well sad news but good news. I told you all that I can't have animals at the corporate apartments that we'll be living in so I had to give away my two dogs Milo and Penny. They both found loving families with kids yesterday but it was a very sad day for me. I cried. But I know they will be loved and well taken care of. Thankfully when my parents get a house in Fairbanks they will take the cats for us. I'm sure Taylor and I will be over everyday to visit. I couldn't bare giving away fluffy and anna, plus know one would take Psycho Anna, she's too Psycho. She'll adjust to her new home plus she's getting a lot less skittish in her old age. I'm sorry to hear your little kitties don't seem to be up to par. It's good that you are exploring the possible causes, you just never know. I feel my cats the Purina Indoor Cat formula plus when I give them wet food occasionally I crush in Methio-Form (DL-Methionine) chewable tablets.

Thanks Kristin. My dogs will be well taken care of, otherwise there is no way I could have gone through with it. I just hope they are missing each other too much. I know that skinny penny cried when Milo left. Hopefully they are enjoying their new life.

I'll definitely keep everyone updated on my new venture to Alaska. I can't wait, I'm ready to go now!

cheers,

Tricia.
