Entering P2

Well, I am entering Phase 2 officially. I've been struggling with Phase 1 for about a month now -- I would have a few good days, followed by cheats. It was hard for me! So, I am hoping to have better luck here. I don't want to end up on that downward spiral where I keep attempting P1, then end of giving in b/c it's too restrictive, then end up off the diet entirely.
For breakfast, I had 1 cup plain low fat yogurt (one of my usual P1 breakfast) & 2 of those small, whole wheat, low-carb pitas (50 cal each) with light butter & splenda sprinkled on top. I am going to eat P1 foods for the rest of the day -- a latte for a snack, a salad w/chicken for lunch, nuts for a snack, then a meat & a veggie for dinner, followed by an NSA fudgicle. What do you think? Any feedback would be much appreciated. :)
I am fine with losing weight slowly, but I would like to average 1-2 pounds per week. I am also going to watch my calories (1500-1600 max) and get cardio each day & weights 2-3 times per week.
Thanks for listening!
Christine

Hi Suzy,
I agree, a piece of cake is okay.
Thank you Cathy!
