Happy Saturday-Phase2 Check In

Good morning to all of my sbd friends!! Hope you are all enjoying your saturday. Finally a day to relax. DH is gone to do errands while dd and I just hang back and rest. We'll go later to visit the kitties that are staying in grandpa's RV until gp and gm move in to their new home at the end of the month. The cats are doing wonderful though, especially since they are out of the car and have room to run and play. They meowed for the first 30 minutes of our 5 day adventure and then that was it. They found a little hole to hide in and they were happy. They used the kitty box and everything. They were great little travelers. Which made it a lot easier on me since I didn't have to worry too much about them.

Okay onto the menu:

b: turkey sausage, eggs with green onions, spinach, and feta

s: plain yogurt w/ splenda and blueberries

l: salad with chicken

s: mozz stick

d: Not sure we're invited to a b-day party. I think I'll eat some good snacks before we go just incase there isn't anything I can have.

s: plain yogurt w/ splenda and kashi go lean cereal

w: 40 oz

e: not much today

Cheers!

Tricia

I cheated a little on Saturday but don't feel too bad about it--we were at a birthday party and birthday cake (especially vanilla cake with pink sugar frosting) is my absolute favorite indulgence, and I think I would have just felt so deprived if I completely avoided it!

Tricia, were you able to avoid cheating at your party? Birthday and wedding cakes are definitely my all time weaknesses!

Breakfast: Buckwheat pancakes (from SB cookbook)

No snack

Lunch: Uncle John's turkey chili

Afternoon "snack": very small slice of delicious birthday cake!

Dinner: Sauteed shrimp, steamed broccoli and mashed cauliflower with cheddar. A chocolate mousse treat (I ate half of it, and it was very small) made with Splenda. Red wine.

Uhhhh No, I was unable to keep from eating the non sbd friendly foods. I had cake w/ cherry filling, barbecue wienies, tortilla chips w/ cheese dip, and chips with ranch dip. I did pretty good today though (Sunday).

It's tough but if I can keep my indulgences to a minimum I should be okay. Looks like you did better then me.
