Celebrate Friday Phase 2 Check In
9
Fri, 10-15-2004 - 9:35am

Good Morning!

It's FRIDAY!!!!!  (Not that I'm excited or anything. LOL)

I survived my tofu last night.  I must admit I enjoyed the sauteed tomatoes/onions/bell peppers more than the actual tofu....but it was okay.   I ended up feeling hungry again later, though.

What are your weekend plans?  I'm not sure what we're doing yet.  Maybe going to the local art museum.  I also have to finish up my bulb planting before we get many more nights below freezing.   I think we may find time to go to a movie also.

I hadn't lost any more weight on P1 since Monday so I decided to go back on P2 today.  I don't know if it's the right thing to do, but I really miss my cereal and think I'd be less likely to want to cheat if I can have some of my healthy carbs back.....

Breakfast:  Kashi cereal & soymilk, coffee

Snack: Mozz stick

Lunch:  tuna salad

Snack:  PB Yogurt

Dinner:  Still to be determined ;-)

Have a fabulous Friday & a spectacular weekend!!!   I LOVE hearing from all of you! :-)

Sara, just reading your post makes me tired. How do you do it? I've been with no job for 3 weeks now. Since Monday I've been alone w/ dd while dh is at work. I seem to not get enough sleep. I didn't get out of bed until noon today. I've never, ever, slept past 8:30 even on a Saturday. I think I'm trying to make up for all the missed sleep the past 17years of working non stop.

I hope you doing something relaxing and fun for yourself this weekend. I often wondered why people call it the terrible 2's, when it was the terrible 3's and 4's for my dd. What is geocaching? Sounds interesting.

take care,

Tricia

Hello Suzy and everyone. I tend to agree with you Suzy about the p2 thing. If it get's too restrictive it's a lot harder to want to stay with it. I think that's why p1 is only 2 weeks. I think that extra good carb will give you the energy your body needs. I'm very proud of you for doing p1 for a week. I can't seem to get myself straightened out. I have the extra time on my hands now and I have more time to think about food. I love food and need to get a little more experimental with it. Last night, at the last moment I decide I want to eat out and of course dh doesn't argue. We ended up ordering domino's because we sat around too long. So I do good all day long and then end the day with a major cheat. Then I end up eating icecream too. I think I need to work better at controlling my environment. I'm setting myself up for failure.

My mom flies in tonight. I'm very excited. The snow melted from yesterday so she should have a good flight. I think we are taking dd to the animal-free circus tomorrow. We also need to get her winter gear before school starts on Monday. They are required to have snow pants, boots, gloves, jacket, scarves and hats or they can't do recess. I'm definitely not used to the changes necessary for severe winter cold.

b: 2 eggs, spinach, feta with 3 turkey sausages

s: mozz stick

l: probably nothing since I'm just now eating breakfast and it's 12:50pm.

s: ?

d: grilled hamburger with veggies

s: ff/plain yogurt w/ splenda, vanilla, and almond butter

w: 40 oz

e: housecleaning and shopping

ttfn,

Tricia
