I'm soooo glad they won and squashed the Yankees!  What sweet victory!  I'm also rooting for them in the world series!

Who's with me???

Hi Kristin - not me, I'm a born and bred Yankees fan. But . . .I'm not as nuts as some Yankee fans - I can accept the loss, and it was a great series. Boston just outpitched the Yankees (and the Yankees paid way to much for A-Rod).

Good luck in the series!

Kristen, I'm with you only if the Cardinals lose tonight.

A born Cardinals fan. My first baseball game was at the old Sportsman's Park, the same place where my Father saw his first major league game. It was like Riggley Field in Chicago, but is long gone.

One of our executives cancelled a road trip with me so he could do the World Series. I said he could if I got any un-used tickets.

Go Cards! :)

Cinderkitty - don't really care which team wins. And yes, some Yankee fans are a bit nuts, calling it a "fix" - really stupid.

For all you Yankee fans out there, here's a great quote for a chat site on the Newark Star Ledger:

Listen Yankee fans: The club has had a WONDERFUL run these past ten years (starting in 1995). In the long run, it will be remembered more for the six series trips (and four titles), than for the mishap here. Take the overall view: would you rather be a Met fan? I think not!
