"Flat Out" Flatbreads

I saw something in the store last week that looked tempting and SB friendly. They were called Flat Out Flatbreads (I think).

They were whole wheat flatbreads that you can use for pizza, quesadillas, sandwiches etc. And the stats looked pretty good: 110 calories, 3 grams of fat, no trans fats, and 15 (yes 15) grams of fiber.

Has anyone tried them?

Hi Dawn,

No, I haven't seen them at my grocery store yet.

Thanks for the info!

With that much fiber, they may taste like cardboard but I'll give 'em a try and report back.

I picked up a package of these on the way home from work last night and they were pretty darn good. I used the italian herb to make a pizza with tomato sauce, herbs, lf cheese, veggies and a few slices of turkey pepperoni. They're quite tasty and really big, so if you are making a sandwich or a wrap, you could easily get away with only using half a serving. The flatbreads contain a lot of fiber, so drink lots of liquids. I *thought* I drank a lot last night, but I woke up this a.m. and I felt like I had slept in a desert.

You know those rolled up sandwich type things. Take a piece of flat bread. Spread cream cheese out on the flat bread, add a little garlic salt if you like. Then on one end of the flat bread, add shredded lettuce, chopped or thinly sliced tomato, turkey, ham, cheese, whatever you like in it. And then start rolling it up. After you roll it up, you can slice it to make little sandwiches.
