I began my weight loss journey almost exactly one year ago this week on WW. I remember eating up the rest of the Halloween candy before my first day of counting points! LOL. I started an exercise routine a few months later. Then in June, I switched to SBD. The combination of all three things, has gotten me to 48.5 lbs lighter than I was when I started. I'm down to a size 16 (from a 22), which I haven't been since college, and I'm 10-15 lighter than I was before I got married and had two babies.
We had a very busy August, so I got off track with my exercise routine. Then I got sick in September -- just a cold, but it lasted a couple weeks. By that point I was totally out of the habit of going to the gym. Then in early October we had out of town guests and my daughter's birthday party. The good news is that I have easily maintained the same weight for more than 2 months.
NOW... I'm ready to refocus and lose the last 15-20 lbs. I started at 232, am currently 184.5 and my goal is 165. I've been eating in what is probably a Phase III manner. And I'm going to get back on track with Phase II, and start working out 3-4 times a week again. Hopefully this will be enough to get me going without going back to P1!
So, I hope to be on the board every day, or at least numerous times during the week from now on! I'm looking forward to seeing my old buddies here as well as meeting some of the new faces I see around :)
