I was up until 1am and am sooo tired here at work. LOL! I am swamped with work so I'm just going to ask everyone to check in & I'll be back to edit & add my menu later.
Yeah that menu was a little lighter than normal but I was really trying to keep my portion sizes down because my hands were tied on a lot of the food choices I had on Tuesday. So to be completely honest--I was a bit hungry too!
I am really trying to stick to the program but the weight is coming off painfully slowly. I've been on SBD for 8 weeks and I've only lost 8.5 pounds total (no 8 to 13 pounds in the first two weeks for me!). But I do feel better, my pants are starting to get a little loose and I'm focusing on that. I thought I lost 1.5 last week but it seems that has somehow shrunk down to 0.5 in the past 3 days. I'm trying to add in a few more whole grains, more veggies and start eating breakfast so that I'm not sabotaging my metabolism but ugh...this is hard!
I know how you feel about the slow weight loss. I've lost 47 lbs and it's taken me a year. There have been a few times I lost more than 2 lbs in a week, but mostly it has been 0.5 to 1.0 lb at a time. Slowly, but surely it adds up. The good thing is the slower you lose the weight, the more likely you are to keep it off. So keep plugging away!
Thanks Sara. I'm going to try that with our spinach tonight. That way, maybe there will be a chance that someone else in my family will eat it, and not just me! LOL
You're right, I can't see the signature graphics. I didn't realize that until just now, and my settings haven't changed. I'll have to look into that. Weird.
