Good Morning SBD Friends!!! :-)
TGIF greetings to Tricia, Kristin, Leslie, Dawn, Rebecca, Sara, Maryann, and everyone else my tired brain may be forgetting. I am hoping Candi is okay....haven't heard from her in awhile. Lurkers, please feel free to stop by. We love new people!!
It's my favorite day & I'm really happy about it. LOL! Thanks for putting up with me being MIA this week here & there. My boss really kept me busy and after staying up way too late to watch election coverage, etc. & clean chinchilla cages I have been too exhausted.
I loved your posts yesterday in Tricia's check in. :-) You're all doing so well.
What are your plans for this weekend? It's supposed to get to 70 degrees here tomorrow, so I'm going to plant my tiny, colorful shrub, my tulip bulbs, & my day lilly plants so I'll have something beautiful to look forward to in the spring! :-)
Here's my day so far:
Breakfast: sf ff yogurt with Kashi GoLean mixed in
Snack: Mozz stick
Lunch: Chicken & veggies
Snack: (?) maybe cashews
Dinner Unsure. Maybe another salad or some fish & veggies
Oh no....the boss is calling me yet again....sigh. TGIF!!!! Giggle!

Well I'm not doing anything special outdoors as we getting our normal heavy gusting winds around 50 miles an hour on Cape Cod today. Going to try to do my WATP's tapes today,along with my trusty stationary bike riding tonight while watching T.V.

B=Micro Apple Melt 1/2 c 1% milk for tea
S=V8
L=1c Black Bean Soup, with opened face l/f ham & cheese sandwich(1/2 sl. fiber bread)
S=1/2 c l/f yogurt
D= salad with F.V.,fish fillet with 1/2 c peas & carrots
Dessert=Mocha creme(SB Dessert)
Hello Maryann!
I'm glad they could get your glasses repaired.
We have a not so exciting day planned today. I'm going to try and make it to Target (which is 20 min away) to take care of some returns, plus do a few loads of laundry and a little pick up around the house. My kids have started a game where they pretend that it's snowing outside so they take out all the hats, mittens, scarves, coats, boots, etc and put them on and do snow angels and stuff on the dining room floor. So there are winter accessories everywhere. Trying to get a 4 yo and 2 yo to clean up (the right way) is more of a challenge than doing it myself. LOL
We have some errands to do this weekend, and we'll probably try and get the yard cleaned up before the REAL snow comes. Then on Sunday we're having friends over for dinner. I hope our weather forecast is as nice as yours is, Suzy!
Here is my meal plan for the day:
B: Coffee w/milk, 2 eggs and a piece of rye toast with butter (I *think* that was legal)
S: 2 cheese sticks with salami (:-o)
L: chicken salad on top of a huge bed of greens w/cucumber (tried to make up for snack!)
S: OOps! Went to McDs with kids and shared fries and Mcnuggets.
D: something with tuna... going on a search for recipes after I finish this post
S: PB yogurt or a SF fudgsicle. Definitely going for the fugsicle to save on calories. Darn McD fries!!! LOL
I'm also going to work out tonight. 30 minutes on the elliptical and some light weights. I did a circuit training class on Wednesday and I'm a bit sore!
Have a great day!
Leslie
P.S. Just to reiterate what Suzy said -- everyone is welcome to join this daily post! Especially for people doing P2. I find that it's a great way to keep myself on track, by sharing menus and ups and downs.

Hey Suzy--I took my husband to get laser eye surgery last year and it was fascinating (I watched his surgery--projected on a big TV screen). He couldn't be happier with the results. The whole thing took about 3 minutes per eye--then they did an eye test 15 minutes later and his vision was perfect. He had a little discomfort that night, but they send you home with sleeping pills to knock you out and he felt great the next morning.
No big plans yet for the weekend, but I definitely need a manicure so that's on the top of my list!
Ok here's my menu...
B: 3/4 cup cottage cheese, tomato and skim milk (can you believe it? I actually ate breakfast!)
L: mixed green salad with onions, shredded cabbage, 3oz sliced sirloin, mozz. cheese and vinaigrette dressing
S: green apple and lf cheese stick
D: 1/2 flat out flatbread pizza with low sugar tomato sauce, mushrooms, italian turkey sausage pieces and mozz. cheese
S: serving of cashews
Have a great weekend!
Morning Leslie!
I had to giggle imagining the scene of all those mittens & winter accessories everywhere! LOL
Happy Friday! We're getting the auto-start put in the Jeep today so that I can click a button from the apartment and have the car warm up. Yesterday's high was 8 degrees. My floor mat is frozen from the snow that comes in on my boots. I left half a can of red bull in the car and it was a block of ice. It's amazing how cold it gets here and this is only the beginning. It's really beautiful though.
b: eggs w/ spinach, green onion, tomato, and feta
s: nuts
l: salad w/ grilled chicken
s: not sure
d: grilled chicken w/ cheese and veggies
s: not sure
Have a great weekend friends!
