Better late than never...giggle! This morning my dh had to go to the doctor since his coughing & soar throat progressed into some breathing problems. He was diagnosed with a mild case of pneumonia. He stayed home from work today because the doc said he'd be contageous for 24 hours (he got a couple shots in his rear. LOL) Also he's taking antibiotics that look like horse pills. He's stubborn though, since he's insisting he go to work tomorrow evening for 3 hours to help with the annual sale at the electronics store. Sheesh! They want him to get a pneumonia shot in a couple weeks to make sure he doesn't get this again in a worse version. I don't know if I'll catch it or not. I'm trying to take vitamins & wash my hands a gazillion times a day.
On a more up note...it's sunny & in the 70's here today! I'm going out soon to plant my Little Henry shrub & some day lilly plants & tulip bulbs. I am pretty new to this gardening thing so I hope I do it right! LOL (Does this count as exercise? LOL)
Brunch: egg white veggie omelette & whole grain english muffin, coffee.
Snack: yogurt
Dinner: Not sure.
I hope you enjoy your weekend everyone!
Hugs,

Sorry to hear about your DH's illness! That's a terrible way to spend a nice autumn afternoon. Ugh. Hope he feels better soon.
I smiled at your gardening adventures, because you're planting a shrub with the same name as my baby son Henry :) And yes, digging and planting definitely counts as exercise. Your back and legs will tell you all about that on Monday. Hehe.
Here is my day of eating:
B: cheese and turkey pepperoni omelette made by my DH for me. Too much cheese to be considered healthy, but it sure was good!
L: coffee latte and a turkey rollup at the coffee shop. Also had a couple potato chips.
S: 1/2 piece of WW toast w/peanut butter
D: chili and maybe a salad if I have room. Not feeling very hungry tonight.
S: peanut butter yogurt w/banana (gotta have fruit to make up for the lack of veggies today!)
On a happy note, I've lost a pound this week! This follows 2 months of "status quo" (for lack of effort on my part), so it's encouraging to be on my way again. At my physical last week, the doc and I decided on a goal weight of 165 for me. So at 182.5, I only have 17.5 more to go. After losing 49.5 lb so far, that seems like nuthin'!
Take care girls! See you tomorrow or Monday.
Leslie
Your message really cheered me up. I'm glad you had such a nice time shopping with your daughter! I also love that your son is named Henry. That's a very nice name & now I have a nice plant/shrub with that name! :-) That's all I managed to plant today. LOL I had no idea how back breaking it would be to do all on my own. I had to run to the store to buy more soil since much of what I dug up had cement, rocks, etc. mixed in from when our house was built a couple years ago. I had to try to get it just the right depth. What a procedure! I finally have it in and watered it a bit and tomorrow I will put down the mulch and see if my back/legs can handle planting the 5 day lilly plants plus 25 tulip bulbs. I'm soar just thinking about it! LOL I sure wish my dh was not sick & could help me.
How sweet of your dh to make you that omelette! :-) Your menu looked good.
CONGRATULATIONS on losing that pound! WTG!!!! I am with you & need to lose around 15 pounds. I did good today. I had lean steak & green beans & a lettuce salad for dinner. (I said "no" to dh's mashed potatoes & french bread!) I am determined to lose something this next week.
Have a wonderful evening :-)
