Well we ended up going to dinner last night for Mom's birthday. She wanted BBQ so that's what we had. I shouldn't have had the sauce on my chicken but it was good and I had a very small piece of birthday cake too. Back on track today.
Breakfast-Uncle Sam cereal with skim milk
Snack-Pear
Lunch-Salad (mesclun mix with tomatoes, turkey, almonds and olive oil and vinegar dressing);sf jello
Snack-cheese stick
Dinner-Tilapia with lots of veggies
Snack-hot cocoa probably (the temp. has finally dropped)

This weekend is going to be a tough one for me. Going away to a lodge/spa in the mountains--it's going to be fun but a challenge to stay on the beach. Add to that the fact that my will power is shakey and I'm ravenous because of my TOM. It takes me so long to lose each pound, I can't allow myself to roll backwards this weekend. I just feel kind of stuck--knowing I'll probably want to enjoy a few non-SBD friendly foods this weekend and trying not to hate myself if I do. It's amazing the guilt issues I have about food. Wish me luck! Geez...I ate a LOT yesterday.
B: 2 eggs, 2 links veggie sausage
S: celery, tomato and dip
L: roast beef, lf cheese, lettuce and mustard on a high fiber flat bread and an apple
S: serving of nuts, piece of cheese
D: sirloin patty, broccoli & cheese
S: bowl of strawberries with ff reddi whip

Hi everyone. Happy Friday. I’m still sick. The pain in my sinuses is better but I’m still coughing and have an icky nose. Dd is still coughing too. I don’t think I��m going to go see Bridget Jones’ Diary today. I just don’t feel good enough. Dh is working half day today. Dd was off yesterday and today because of parent/teach conferences. Our meeting with her teacher went really good yesterday. They are more demanding in private school then they were in her last school, which is good. They have homework every night except Friday’s, but it’s good because her reading and writing has really improved in the past few weeks.
Blue: I love barbecue and I really like the Carb Options variety. I try not to buy into that gimmicky stuff but it’s truly better then most sauces I’ve tried. It has a little kick to it! Yum! Way to jump right back on the wagon, but I think you hardly even fell off.
Dawn: Please enjoy yourself this weekend. Your spa sounds wonderful. It’s okay to treat yourself every now and then that way you don’t have to suffer the guilt. Just make sure you get back to sbd as soon as your treating is over. I think you owe it to yourself to not feel guilty and to relish in your accomplishments so far!
Kristin: Congrats on your lost pound. Awesome. I think I may have found it for you, but that’s okay. Good luck to your DH. I admire him, I couldn’t do it. I’d be like the priest in “Four Weddings and a Funeral” ‘In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spigot”
Sara: I need to try those little quiches. I’ve heard they are great but have yet to make them. I guess you could really invent your own based on the original recipe.
Suzy: Happy Friday to you! Hope you are doing well. Sorry I missed yesterday’s post but I was busy sleeping late because I felt like crap. I really, really hope to get myself in gear come Monday and start exercising. I know I can do this. I know that if I start exercising my mood will improve causing me to eat better. I wake up in the night searching for something to eat. It’s terrible. I’m glad I don’t have too many unhealthy items otherwise I’d have gained weight this week.

My Menu today is Phase 2
B=1/2 apple in 1/2 c oatmeal with 1/2 c 1% milk for tea
S= V8
L=2 L/F Hot dogs,with baked beans
S=1 c chcolate flavored soy milk
D= salad with F.V.,6 oz catfish, with 1/2 c wild rice and 1/2 c peas along with 1 c broccoli
Dessert= sugar free ice cream bar
Tomorrow I'll be going on Phase 2.5.So far on this nutty plan of mine combining all Phases I'm losing a 1/2-1 lb each day. Hugs Maryann

Mmmmm... That sounds good. I would probably add feta and turkey sausage.

We just saw The Incredibles & really enjoyed it. (I didn't think I would). Another animated film that's supposed to be good is Polar Express. After the Sunset also opens this weekend & looks interesting.
How did your project go?
Tonight I just had a salmon burger & asparagus. I'm thinking of a late snack now.
