Cornstarch in phase 2?

Cornstarch in phase 2?

Is it ok to use small amounts of cornstarch to thicken things in Phase 2? I made some soup the other day and I found the whole wheat flour didn't thicken very well-unless I was using the wrong amount. Maybe soy flour would work better than the whole wheat flour?

A small amount of cornstarch is okay in all phases to be used as a thickener.
