Monday Check In/Happy Birthday Tricia

I thought I'd start us off today. I think it's Tricia's birthday, so I wanted to be the first to wish you a very happy one, dear Tricia! Even though I've become a lurker for the past month or so for a variety of reasons, I have been following your move to Alaska and am so happy that you are with your dh full time these days. I am intrigued by Alaska and enjoy hearing about it. I know this will be a great year for you.

SBD is working for us, slowly but surely. dh continues to lose weight faster than I do but I think it's a matter of being patient with the results.

dh & I had our usual SB breakfast today, scrambled eggs/eggbeaters with peppers and onion, turkey bacon, tomato juice and coffee.

For lunch I will make a salad most likely.

I'm thinking about making chicken breasts with goat cheese and some kind of veggies for dinner, with pumpkin pudding with cool whip and toasted pecans for dessert.

I am planning to go to the store today and buy the ingredients for a homemade vegetable soup. I have a temp job starting tomorrow (thank goodness for small favors!) so want to make a few things to last for the week. Made the SB chili last week and it was truly awesome.

Have a good day, everyone!

Rebecca

Gave blood this Saturday and had the cookies but other than that did ok. I've gotta stay on track from now on. I think I need to increase my grains/fruit servings to start my weight loss again.

Well here's today's menu:

Breakfast-Kashi Go Lean cereal w/1% milk; dried apricots(first time trying Kashi-I prefer Uncle Sam-I feel more full but it's good to mix it up every now and then)

Snack-Blue Bunny Lite 85 Cherry vanilla

Lunch-Salad-mesclun mix with chopped ham, egg, tomato and shredded cheese with SBD approved buttermilk ranch dressing; sf jello (I think I need to find something new for lunches-it is just so easy to throw together a salad and I only have 30 minutes for lunch)

Snack-If hungry-an apple and PB or cheese stick

Dinner-Probably tofu stir fry over brown rice

Snack-?

Happy birthday, Outdoor lady!

Tell me your name is Tricia so I can be somewhat off the hook. I read the Saturday postings too fast, and I thought your message was from Tricia Currier.

I wish you both a Very Happy Year anyway! Tricia Currier, you better tell me now when your birthday is so I can wish you a Happy one on the correct day, too! My sentiments about your moving to Alaska are unchanged.

I am sorry for the mistake but I truly wish you both happiness.

Rebecca

I don't think it's my birthday, unless there is another Tricia. I know that Sara said it was her birthday. My birthday is December 2. Wow that's right around the corner.

No problem Rebecca, it's nice to see how many well wishes I got!

Happy Birthday Sara!!!
