Brrrrr...Sunday Check In

Good Sunday morning all you South Beachers! Well today in Fairbanks it is a chilly 23 below zero! I have the sliding glass door cracked a little to let out some of the heat (we're on the 3rd floor of an apartment and get everyone's heat) and the steam is just shooting out!

Sorry I've been missing in action lately. I've been spending a lot of time shopping on ebay. It's kind of stressful when you really want something. I ordered some Holly Hobbie plates for my mom for Christmas. We both collect them.

Well I never got to see "Finding Neverland."  My parents were going to watch dd for us so we could go but it wasn't playing anymore. So I guess we're going to wait until next week and go see "Ocean's Eleven."

Well I hate to admit it but I have almost gained back all my weight I've lost. 14 more pounds and will have done what I said I would never do. Why must I do this every time. This is the plan that I thought I could stick to the most. So here I am starting all over again. Trying once again to make working out and eating right a priority in my life. I know I can do it, I just need to keep it up and quit cheating. It's really a lot harder since DH have been living together. It was a lot easier when we were apart. Not exactly sure why. Well here's to starting again before the New Year!

b: wheat toast w/ jam

s: nothing

l: ham and bean soup

s: mozz stick

d: grilled pork with veggies

s: fudgesicle

Hugs,

Tricia

Today was my weigh in day and not only have I not lost anything...I have gained a pound. I HAVE NOT cheated one bit and have only added back one piece of fruit for my first week of Phase 2. So confused...any idea's? Here is a general idea of what my menu is (this is from today)

B: 2 eggs w/lf colby cheese, 2 slices of ham (NOT honey ham)

S: usually have an apple but I was busy today so I had nothing

L: bowl of leftover taco soup(lean ground beef, kidney/black beans, low sugar salsa)

It looks like you're not getting anywhere NEAR the amount of veggies you need - 4 1/2 cups a day!

Thanks for your response. I have been working out like this since my daughter was 6 weeks old (she is 6 months now). I am constantly changing my workout to keep my muscles in "shock" mode though which gets me tone. I thought about the whole gaining muscle esp when I stepped on the scale and I am 5 pounds within where I started from...so frustrating....but I just took my measurements to try and see if that is what is happening. Dont worry about me giving up, I am much to motivated for that. I will get to my goal!!!!

Not getting enough sounds like a good posibility, if your not getting enough your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto everything it possibly can instead of burning it off.
