May we all have a successful week this week. Had a nice and very quick weekend. Dd had her b-day party for her and her friends on Sunday. That meant more cake. But other then that I had a pretty great south beach diet weekend. Currently the scale is my friend, I just need to get down to what I was in August. 10 more pounds to go and then I can start losing my original weight. That's confusing. Anyway....
b: 2 eggs, ham, spinach, feta
s: nuts
l: grilled chicken salad
s: veggie soup
d: pork ribs w/ carb option barbecue sauce and veggies
s: popsicles.

Hi Tricia,I'm happy to hear that the scale was your friend,I myself have the situation as you, have to get my 10 lb cruise weight off,before starting my orginal regular weight loss.These Christmas Parties are NOT as easy as it sounds. I think that cake or cookies in my case will NOT hurt if you DON"T continue doing it all the time. Hugs Maryann
My menu today was before the party
B=l/f breakfast sausages on 1 sl fiber bread,1/2 c 1% milk for tea
S=l/f cheese cube
L=Black bean & corn salad with mexican spices.(PARTY-3 cookies 1 c decaf coffee with h&h no sugar)
D=salad w) Fl. vinegar, salmon boneless steak,1/2c carrots with 1/2 c cauiflower and 1 c spinach.
Dessert=1 banana with 1 c l/f l/s yogurt
