Hello! How is everyone today? Getting closer and closer to the big day. I'll try to finish up my shopping this weekend. We'll see!
We decided to get ourselves Tivo for xmas. That should be arriving next week. I'm soooooo excited. Everyone we know who has it loves it. No more tapes! No more little notes from DH reminding me to tape a race. LOL
We did the boat tour last night. It was fun. It toured around the harbor and looked at all the xmas lights. But to get there, we had to stand in line, then file onto a school bus. Yes, the big orange ones! Talk about small seats! LOL And then, we had to stand in line again. But once we got on the boat, it was fun.
Here's my day:
B - Kashi Go Lean w/ 1% milk & splenda
L - veggie soup, slice of ww bread
S - celery and radishes with lf ranch, granny smith apple
D - not sure. I have a leftover burger patty from last night. Maybe that, with a salad.
I have to admit, I've been eating way to many sweets. It's just so hard! But, my meals are always right on. It's just the extra cookies here and there. I haven't given in completely, but I'm definitely being bad! I'm just going to do what I can and once the holidays are gone, so will the cookies!

Hi Kristen, Doing fine today as it was my W-I and I lost(((( 1 whole pound))))) with all the parties I went to,I can't believe I was so good. I'm trying to WATCH carefully and pay attention of what I'm eating,not to just unconsiously picking up junk and consume it with out a thought. Hope my plan works.
What is a Tivo? I'm not that knowledgeable about electronics. Hugs Maryann
My Menu today:
B-2 sl of turkey bacon on a bed of mashed butternut squash, 1/2 c 1% milk for tea
S=1 c l/f yogurt
L-1 c veggie soup, with 1/2 turkey sandwich.
S=V8
D-salad with Flavored vinegar,tipalia fish fillet,1/2 c green beans with 1/2 c corn.
Dessert-1 apple

Kristen I guess this isn't the time to mention all my shopping is done and wraped (DD's bday presents aren't wrapped yet though).
Since I didn't get to go to the gym last night I'm gonna try to go right after work today.

Hi girls - I'm mostly just lurking today, but I thought I'd pipe in about the salads. I got burned out on them, too, and decided to change lettuces. LOL. I always eat either romaine or red leaf lettuce, and I went the other direction and bought some nice iceberg (which I *never* eat). It was so nice to have something different that I had salads three times that week! One of my favorites is iceberg with turkey pepperoni (not very much, only 10 slices or so), some shredded mozz cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and banana peppers if you like them. Toss with a splash of Italian dressing. I call it a pizza salad. Green peppers, onions or mushrooms might also be good.
Another good way to get in those veggies at lunch time is to make a tuna or chicken salad with TONS of veggies (way more veggies than meat). Tasty and filling! You can even dice up lettuce and add it to the mix for a different spin on salad.
