Hi Kristin!

Yes, poinsettias are dangerous for little kitties.

Guess I'll be keeping the plants outside then.

I did some checking and I guess they aren't as bad as I'd heard, but I'd still try to keep them in a room away from kitties:

Hi Suzy and Kristin!

Is it just me or does it seem like we've lost a lot of people?

Happy Friday to all!!!! What a busy week. I was upset because I spent the last two weeks really sticking to sbd and then all of a sudden gained 4 pounds. TOM has just started showing signs so hopefully it's just water weight.

However, I'm really proud of myself this morning. I always crave crappy food around this time of the month and really wanted a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit from MCD. Instead I came home and made myself a ham, cheese, egg on whole wheat.

Hi Sara!

I think it's the normal flow of things for people to not be thinking of diet so much during the Holidays, so try not to worry.

Hi there my P2 friends,

I'm guilty of lurking most of the time, I know, but I wasn't like that all the time. I guess I just got a little worried about my privacy -- it's so easy to post every detail of my life and who knows who's out there reading and piecing everything together. I guess I sound paranoid, don't I? Like they say, I don't care what everybody else says, I'm not paranoid! LOL

I used to post my menu every day; now I will reply every once in a while to someone, or post a favorite recipe. It's just a change of pace for me that way. I hope you will forgive me for being sporadic!

For example, today, I made a cream of cauliflower soup that was pretty nice -- adapted from my Paris Cookbook (by Patricia Wells). It was made with chicken stock and I put in a little FF half & half. We're trying to eat more soup; I think it's a great way to get some vegetables in.

Anyway, I did want to pop in and let you know I do check on all my fellow P2ers just about every day. Will I ever proceed beyond P2, I ask? January 26 is our one year anniversary on SBD. It's going to be a while before we hit our targets.

And thank you to whoever sent the link for I Want That Body DVD. It's awesome; I was sore for several days after the first time; then our DVD broke. I'm hoping Santa brings a new one.

Hope you have a great weekend,

Rebecca the Lurker :)
