Happy Friday Phase 2 Check In

Whooo Hoooo.....we MADE IT!!!! It's Friday at last and I'm so looking forward to the weekend. :-)
What are your plans? Are you done with shopping?
Here's my day so far:
Breakfast: yogurt, kashi & coffee
Lunch: chicken & ww pasta & mixed veggies
Snack: lc cheese and apple
Dinner: To be determined....

Hi ladies!
Sorry I've been so in-and-out lately. As you have probably seen from my other posts, I decided to rejoin Weight Watchers a few weeks ago to get me through the holidays. I was kinda off the SBD wagon, and felt myself slipping more and more (mentally only, I haven't gained any weight), so I had to crack the whip again! Since I was doing WW, I figured I didn't need to do SBD anymore. Well, lest I forget, I just FEEL much better when I follow the SBD way of eating, whether I am actively trying to lose weight or not. DUH... Why can't I get that into my thick head? LOL! So whether I do WW or not, you guys are stuck with me now.
So here is my menu today (I'm doing WW Core, so there is a slight bit of difference from my normal SBD menu):
B: oatmeal with a little butter (shhh....) and 1/2% milk. Coffee w/ milk.
L: fantastic sweet potato and mustard green soup I made last night; veggies with garlicky bean dip
S: roll from a local restaurant (unplanned and unresisted.... LOL)
D: turkey and cabbage rolls, brown rice
S: either popcorn or SF pudding
Hmmm now that I look at my menu, there seems to be lots of room for improvement. It's funny how I didn't notice that until I shared it with you. I should have had eggs this morning, knowing I'd have the soup for lunch. Also should have skipped the roll, but hey, it was better than the cookies I've been eating.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm wrapping up our holiday to-do list, and getting my haircut.

Hi Leslie! It's so good to see you here! I am kind of with you....I am counting WW points for portion control but try to do SB friendly foods as well. I don't like Core because it's sooo restrictive. I don't like that any milk or cheese that's not fat free you have to count the points for. SB, for me anyway, is just so much for flexibile and easy to follow compared to Core. I use the Flex plan on WW which is easier for me personally. I know some people like the Core plan and if it works for them I say go for it! :-)
WTG on resisting candy! I walked away from Christmas cookies today and felt better for it.
I hope you have a nice haircut! I need one too (hopefully I can get an appt before Christmas?)
