A sandwich craving??

I LOVE sandwiches. I am really have a serious craving for them in the past few days that just won't go away.
Are any of you out there sandwich eaters? What do you eat to meet the need?
Thanks!

In phase 2 you can have sandwiches.
I love sandwiches too! I often have an open face sandwich on 1 piece of SBD friendly bread. That's actually a pretty standard breakfast for me -- a piece of ww toast with a slice of turky and cheese. I also really love whole wheat pitas and those "legal" wraps that were mentioned. They are really good stuffed full o'veggies and stuff.
I had a hard time in P1 without sandwiches, I'll tell ya. I got a mini-fix by using lettuce as a roll up. It was tasty, but sure doesn't cut it for a true sandwich lover. But for two weeks, it's do-able. LOL.
I've found I don't really miss the bread type of sandwiches. Most everything I used to enjoy as a sandwich is REALLY good on top of a salad.
Susan :)
When I got into P2, I found these low-carb tortillas that were made with oat fiber and lots of really nutritious things without any of the bad fats. They even came in different flavors, so I bought the Green Onion flavor and made myself my favorite sandwich in wrap form. I like using a WW pita for this sammich too.
Spread your pita/wrap with roasted red pepper hummus.
Then layer baby spinach, dijon mustard, roasted turkey, tomato, thinly sliced avocado, and
occasionnaly a few sliced olives. I'll also throw in a slice of part-skim mozarella or low-fat cheese (my favorite lately is Cabot's 50% Light Vermont Cheddar) if I feel like I need some calcium.
