Tuesday Checkin Phase 2er's!

Morning!  I'm here early today.  It's so quite around here this week.  Most people took the week off.  Our company has a holiday Thursday and Friday!  I actually have to come in Friday though, but hopefully just a half day.  At least I'll get to wear jeans!  lol

How's everyone's day looking today?  It's raining here.  It's supposed to continue to rain for the next 2 days.  I don't mind so much.  I like the rain.  We don't get enough of it here in southern California!

My friend had her baby last night!  She called me and she sounded so good.  She said she didn't feel like she just had a baby!  One word: epidural.  lol  This is her first baby and they are so excited!  I wish she lived closer.  She lives in Kansas.  :(  Hopefully I'll be able to go visit her in the spring.  No way I'm going to Kansas in the middle on winter!  LOL

Here's my day:

B - oatmeal w/ 1% milk, cinnamon, splenda, walnuts(1 tbsp)

S - veggie cup

L - turkey soup w/ ww pasta, kidney beans, zucchini, green beans, onions

S - celery, carrots, broccoli, radishes w/ cesar dip & pg yogurt

D - probably the last half of the chicken and wild rice, but with either green beans or a small salad.  I need to work on my veggies!

Doing OK here. Just starting into Phase 2 with adding oatmeal
to my breakfast (boy, did I miss that oatmeal!). Down 6 lbs.
from 3 weeks of Phase 1. But the most significant difference
is that this is the first time *ever* I have been in control
of my eating during the holidays, and I am totally thrilled with
that! Hubbie gave me the South Beach Diet cookbook for Christmas
so I'm going to try one of the Phase 1 pork chop recipies tonight.
Breakfast was oatmeal; lunch was a blue cheese and walnut salad at
the Macaroni Grill. Not the lowest fat thing in the world, but it
was goooooooood.

Whooo, I'm late checking in today - I usually get my computer time during dd's morning nap but since we were up a lot last night (think the molars are coming in...I hope they cut through quick!) I ended up sneaking in a 20 minute nap during her morning hour.
