What are your favorite P2 foods?

I am making up my new coupon wish list (I do a lot of coupon trains) and am trying to think of brand name items that I will be buying.

I've got the basics like salad dressing, SF jell-o, cheese, etc... but know there are products out there that I am either not aware of or cannot think of at the moment.  There are also ones that I havn't tried because I just wasn't sure how they would taste.

What are some of your favorite SBD friendly brands/products?  Is there a certain kind of ww pasta you've found to be really good, a brand of ketchup, a convenience food that works for P2, etc...

Please share your knowledge! ( =

TIA!

Hi,

I like the Carb Options brand of ketchup and barbecue sauce.

Thanks Cathy, that is exactly the type of things I'm wondering about! Anything I can use coupons for really helps since produce ones are few & far between.

Bets, there were a few good SBD coupons in this weekend's paper in St.

Bets,

I'd add the following brands to your list. I've seen coupons from time to time:

Smart Balance (if you haven't discovered this yet, let me tell you, it tastes good)
Ricotta (I like Polly-O brand)
Louis Rich bacon (don't think I've ever seen a coupon for this. . .)
Smuckers natural PB (don't think I've seen this coupon, either)

I tell you, some of these brands don't have to coupon as long as we SBD'ers are around! What a boon for them. Now, the orange juice makers, on the other hand, are in big trouble! It's been interesting to see all their commercials. Can you tell I'm in marketing?

Don't know if you ever tried the Jennie-O, but my advice is to stick with Butterball or Louis Rich.

I have to back Cathy 200% on this one.

I guess someone has to like Jennie-O for them to continue to make it LOL!

But I would parry that once you try Louis Rich you won't go back to Jennie-O!

My dh & I couldn't get through the week fast enough the time he bought the turkey bacon and didn't realize the importance of avoiding Jennie-O! I wish we could have afforded to throw it away!!
