I'm first? Where is everyone? lol
How is everyone doing this morning? It's not raining here. But, it's supposed to start tonight and rain basically through Monday. :( DH is upset because Saturday is the first socal Supercross(motocross). And, Anaheim stadium is outdoors!
Well, some interesting news here. We *may* be moving to Arizona. Prescott actually. WooHoo!!! I'm soooo excited to get out of southern California. We have some friends who want to move out there and thought we would like it. DH has had some very difficult times with his business and is looking for a fresh start. Not to mention the outrageous housing prices here. I'm just looking to get out! We are going to check it out the first weekend of February. So, please keep your fingers crossed. I've been dying to get out of LA since high school. Dang, which was 10 years ago!
Anyone ever been there?
And, I did my arm workout last night. :)
Here's my day:
B - cottage cheese w/ grapes & apples
S - other half of apple, veggie quiche
L - ww pita w/ ham, lf swiss, lettuce and mustard (I'm addicted now)
S - pb yogurt (my other addiction lol)
D - I'm having a planned 'treat' tonight. My gf and I are going to our mexican place. I'm not planning on holding back too much. We don't go very often! Good thing too!

Oooh, have some yummy mexican for all of us!
I guess great minds think alike...we must have been posting at the same time for today, LOL.
Hi Kristin and Bets!
Happy Thursday!
It is pouring down rain here and pretty cold...we were supposed to have 3-6 inches of snow this morning, but so far just rain, rain, rain :-( I hate this kind of weather, and I have to go out grocery shopping either tonight or tomorrow because my cupboards are looking desperately bare!
I've been to Arizona, and LOVED it, TG and I were joking the other day that we need to request transfers to our company's office there :-) I'm going to Los Angeles for the first time at the end of February on business, I'm looking forward to it!
Last night was total Uh Oh...went out to dinner, the only Beach-friendly stuff was salad and I just plain didn't want any after having that for lunch, so I ate a couple kinds of meat and then had two pieces of bread (one white, one corn) and a small thing of soft-serve...oooooooooooooooooops.
Today I'm back on the wagon, though!
B: Microwave omelette with cheese and spinach
S: Peanuts and a cheese wedge
L: Tuna salad with cheese and peanuts for a crunchy topping over baby spinach; I had some of my chocolate-peanut butter creation afterwards.
S: I brought an orange and some change to go downstairs and get some sourdough pretzels (the kind in our vending machine has no trans-fats or sugars) if I need them
D: Not sure yet, either the stir-fry I'd planned for last night or else breakfast for dinner...whole wheat pancakes, yum!

Just have a sec to reply since I promised my DD that she could play a game on the computer. I'm going to go read my book for a while. I'm trying to finish up the third book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and I'm in the middle of the battle scenes and it's been tedious.
Anyhow, here is my menu today:
B: 2 egg omlette w/ham, zuchinni and feta; coffee w/milk
S: nope
L: very veggie lunch today - homeade Asian coleslaw, grilled veggies and 1 teeny tiny sweet potato grilled on the Foreman grill
S: not sure
D: not sure
S: PB yogurt
So I've still been P1-ing today, other than the sweet potato. But it was REALLY small! LOL. Obviously, I'll have to fill in the rest later. Do you guys know if I'm supposed to have protein at lunch? All I had was veggies, along with oil and vinegar and salt.
More later!
Leslie
Bets,
On the english muffins.........the greta thing is that one whole muffin is a serving, the trick is going to be finding the right ones.

Hello everyone! I didn't mean to be MIA....honest! I have been working on the SB website and also was looking after dh last weekend when he was sick with a temp and tummy upset. I've also been doing tons of housework and trying new "all natural" food on my kitties to see what happens. We had a "snow day" yesterday at the college due to over a foot of snow. Today they kept us in suspense until 5:45 am to let us know we could show up late at noon for work. The roads are not fun to drive in but I made it there and back safely.
The good news is that I started back on the diet track on Jan 1 and I know some of this was water weight from that time of month last weekend, but I've so far lost 6.6 pounds this week! I know I won't enjoy such a loss from here on out, but it is nice to see the scale go down for a change. I missed all of you and am very appreciative of you starting check ins in my absence. I hope you're all getting a good start on the New Year! I will do some weights tonight in my warm house to get some sort of exercise in. (I can't imagine trying to walk outside with all the cold & snow).
Oh, I forgot to mention that I will be starting a part-time job next week in addition to my full-time one so I will have to be even more diligent about starting the check ins very early since it'll be hard to go online otherwise....I just needed the extra money and I am testing the waters to see if there are good opportunities at the part-time place....and if so, I will one day quit my full-time job at the college (which is dead-end) and go full-time at the other job if I can get into management or something more rewarding. I've never done this before so I hope I don't get too exhausted! ;-)
Now Sara, could you please brush the sand off my beach chair? LOL!! Thanks for putting up with me...giggle!
Hugs,
