Thinner Thursday Check In!

Well all that lovely snow y'all have been talking about is starting to fall in my neck of the woods.  Very, very little right now - just the thinnest layer over the grass.  This is actually the first snow we've seen since Thanksgiving so I don't mind it...as long as it doesn't start to stick, LOL!


Doing pretty well today.  Had a desperate "need" for a PB&J last night so I had a dessert of 1/2 ww pita pocket w/2 TBS PB & 1 TBS Sugar Free All Fruit.  (I know, not the best fruit choice but I figured it was still better than jelly!)  Even though it wasn't a big slathering on squishy bread, I felt better feeding my need & I didn't feel guilty because I pretty much stayed legal.  I didn't even go over my 1/day starch allowance because I ended up not eating the rice w/dinner. (I ended up making Stir-Fry at the last minute w/double veggies & 1/2 the brown rice I used to make - tasted just fine & dh didn't miss the rice!).


I'm feeling fat this week...I'm hoping it is all in my head.  I really want to get on the scale to check but I made a deal with myself to only weigh in once a week. ( ;


Well, here is how today is shaping up:
B:  Kashi & 1% milk, 1 cup of coffee
S:  cottage cheese w/greated cucumber & fresh ground pepper (I'd forgotten how much I like cottage cheese.  Dh won't touch it outside of lasagna so I never bought it much in the past for fear of it going bad.  Now I'm just making a point of eating it.)
L: Big romaine salad with lots of veggies & grilled chicken
S: not sure yet...maybe an apple w/PB
D: leftovers that we didn't eat last night ( =
