Good Morning My P2 Friends!
It's my favorite day again! It's cold and still snowy out, but I managed to get to work at the normal time. It's supposed to get to a balmy 23 degrees today...whoo hoo!!
I spoke too soon on my weight loss. I have been very good since Jan 1 and I thought I was down 6.6 but this morning I was up again 1.6 so we'll see what tomorrow morning - the "official" weekly WI shows. Don't you just love how the female body fluctuates so much with water weight and everything? LOL!
What are your weekend plans? It's my last weekend before starting my new PT job. I guess I'll have no more, or virtually no more, days off anymore. I don't know how long I'll last with two jobs but it'll be a learning experience. Giggle!
Today:
Breakfast: sf ff yogurt & Kashi Golean cereal & coffee
(forgot a.m. snack)
Lunch: small portion ww spaghetti w/ mushroom sauce
snack: PB yogurt or Rykrisp & Laughing Cow
Dinner: Unsure yet

Hello ladies! Hope you're having a good day so far. It's cold and snowy here again, but I think I might brave the weather (even tho me and the kids have coughs) to go out and buy myself a new calendar. I've been writing down all my 2005 appts on misc scrap pieces of paper and it's starting to drive me NUTS! LOL
I am still working on a P1-ish plan, but I'm ready to slowly transition back to P2. The weird thing is that despite a very low grade headache, I have been doing FINE on P1. All the other times I've done it I've been suffering miserably the whole time. I wonder if that means my body is more detoxed than before?
Yesterday was a good P2-lite day. All my foods were P1 friendly except my teeny tiny sweet potato, and I'm betting the Chinese food I had wasn't completely legal. But I did make a healthy choice with the Szechaun beef instead of something fried.
Today is kind of up in the air since we're getting low on groceries. Here is my plan so far:
B: another 2 egg scramble w/ham and zuchinni and a bit of feta cheese. That was the last of both the fillers, so I'm in trouble tomorrow! LOL. Also coffee w/ 1/2% milk like always
S: cheese stick? I usually sip my 1/2 coffee 1/2 milk for most of the morning, so I'm often not hungry for an a.m. snack.
L: tuna salad w/celery, peppers and whatever other veggies I can scrounge up
S: yogurt w/splenda and vanilla
D: Whole chicken in the crockpot, and 2 sides of veggies. Maybe spaghetti squash and green peans.
S: SF fudgsicle (maybe melted a little with nuts if I'm good the rest of the day. -g-)

Good morning girls!
I'm feeling slightly calmer about my scale crisis now (possibly because I'm at work and can't check it every two minutes anymore, lol?)...but it's still got me panicked into being good!!!
Last night I did well, had my whole wheat pancakes for dinner and no maple syrup for me, just some Equal and cinnamon, yummy! We had fruit instead of veggies, which I thought would go over better with Munchkin, but she's now decided she hates oranges (although she drank two glasses of orange juice as she was telling us this!), so it was still a struggle :-(
I'm in a morning rut these days, but I went grocery shopping last night so I'll have something different over the weekend. For now, it's:
B: Microwave cheese & spinach scrambled eggs
S: Peanuts and cheese wedge
L: Tuna salad over spinach greens, and probably a small bowl of the chocolate peanut butter melt afterwards, that seemed to keep me nice and full yesterday.
S: Either popcorn or yogurt
D: Stir-fry with brown rice

You made my day....how sweet that you missed my good morning Suzy post. Giggle!! I missed posting too! Thanks to everyone for posting in my absence. :-) I sure hope the new PT job won't totally wipe me out.
Did you brave the cold and buy a new calendar? I'm sure that will make life much easier than writing on scrap paper, huh?
I'm glad your P1 and P2 lite days are not making you feel miserable. It sounds like you're making good choices. You sip your coffee all morning like I do at work. Your dinner in the crock pot sounds delicious! Very good selection of veggies.

I am proud of you Shan! WW pancakes and brown rice tonight....very good! Good luck getting munchkin to eat more fruit....giggle! At least you tried. :-)

I am so sorry about your losing sleep. It sounds like me last Monday night when I only slept 2 hours....you feel like a zombie the whole day! I hope DD's cough clears up. Poor thing! I hope you both get much more sleep this weekend.
Your lunch sounded fabulous. I hope you have a nice dinner out. My dh is the same....he'll come home soon and we'll either go out or eat leftovers or something.

Well, didn't make it out today. The kids were being too clingy... although come to think of it, they might be stircrazy, too. But tomorrow is Saturday and I have a client-meeting and THEN I will go get my calendar.
I wound up having a tough day of eating.

S: forgot about my snack until I gave the kids theirs. I gave them some dried bananas and cranberries, and made the mistake of taking "a bite" which turned into a handful. I tried to balance it out by eating some nuts afterwards, but it didn't help. I've been fighting hunger and cravings ever since.
D: Chicken w/brocolli (nuked frozen... yuck), spaghetti squash. Ate a full plate of dinner and am STILL hungry.
S: PB Yogurt -- I should skip the PB, but I need it to fill me up! LOL
Hope I feel normal tomorrow. These cravings are so hard to ignore! SIGH....

I'm sorry it was a difficult day. I was exceptionally hungry also. I am heading to bed now to try to forget I feel hungry so I can weigh in tomorrow for my official one week back on track weigh in.

I did go grocery shopping on Thursday night, but had so many extra groceries to buy for the party that I cut back on the variety-planning throughout the week...partly to save money, partly because I'm back to living in an apartment and I make it a rule to only buy what I can bring up in one trip in my handy-dandy fold-up grocery cart! So I'm going to eat eggs all this week again, but I'm going to make an effort to do different things with them.
I can't BELIEVE that Munchkin was giving me hassles about eating fruit, I thought she'd be thrilled that I gave her that instead of broccoli or spinach (I did tell her at one point that if she didn't eat her orange, I was going to make a big plate of plain broccoli and she would have to eat the whole thing without cheese...amazing how quickly she was convinced she wouldn't choke to death on an orange after that!)

Hey Suzy. Congratulations on the weight loss, even if it fluctuated a bit. I've been busy....My first day of school started on Friday. I'm taking 14 credits and I'm already swamped. I'm happy to be taking classes again though. I'll be anxious to see how much further I have to go once my transcripts get in.
